Mia’s renewed relationship with Lucas is making her feel like she’s on top of the world. With the extra free time afforded by his help, she's taking on all the high school things her parenting has kept her from enjoying. To keep Lucas happy, though, Mia also must allow herself to have fun with him once in a while. But when a party goes too far, Mia alone will have to face the consequences. Simpson is finally feeling confident that he’ll be able to go back to school and put his family back together. Emma is thrilled for him - but both are distracted when Sean Cameron comes back to town.
Season Seven of Degrassi: The Next Generation will venture into new and more provocative territory for adolescents and young adults, as it picks up in the middle of a school year already riddled with tragedy. A fire at Lakehurst, the school of JT's killer, forces many of its students into the halls of Degrassi with explosive results. Amidst the newfound clutter and chaos, Spinner and Darcy deal with dark, personal tragedies, Jimmy and Ashley test their love, and Emma and Manny explore new, surprising relationships - all while hurtling toward graduation. New students struggle to find their places in the school, leading to violence and tears, but also healthy competition and new friendships. At the university house, the gang gets a new roommate, and strays further from the safety of Degrassi. Ellie and Marco discover that exploring their new freedom comes with dire consequences, while Paige, fresh from flaming out of school, gets a great new job, but learns quickly the demands of the real world.

Selfie_Obsessed I wish this was their break up episode. Not that I wanted them too but instead of Emma breaking up with him through email so she can’t date that loser Damien (I will NEVER forgive the writers for that) Sean decides that he wants Emma to be happy and not wait around for him. He wants her to be able to go on dates and be able to just go out and have fun and not sit at home Friday nights missing and worrying about him. Something like that. It could have been a very emotional scene.
