2383 Print Film Emulation is basically a LUT emulating what actual celluloid Kodak 2383 print film does to images (2383 is the most popular type of print film used). Print film is used when the film negative (that's used to capture footage on set) is printed onto print film for projection and distribution. It also adds contrast, which before digital color grading, choosing a specific print film was part of the process of determining how the film will look. Since movies are now mostly projected digitally, and filmmakers still want to emulate what film projection looked like, they use a Print Film Emulation LUT. Also, the "Cineon Film Log" option on Dehancer is there to allow users to apply their own Print Film Emulations after that node, since Print Film Emulation LUTs expect a Cineon Film Log input. Brother...can you please compare the halation (resolve build in vs dehancer), bloom vs glow(resolve build in) and film grain ?

i7 6900K 64GB Ram 2666mhz Nvidia 980 TI (6GB of VRam... Dehancer recommends at least 8 and this is definitely the bottleneck for me) Toshiba OC-Z NVME SSD for programs and a couple Samsung 860 EVO SATA SSDs for scratch files and raw footage I also use the base model M1 Mac Mini (8gb Ram). That's the computer I started with Dehancer until they released the Windows version It's a beastly plugin and drastically impacts playback and render times so that's something to be aware of and factor into your decisions about using it
