I love watching the progress, but to be honest I also enjoy the cat. The supervisor. In front of the fire, up and down the ladder. What a great supervisor. I am only at 36:40, and it just seems the rooms are endless. You get in one, dig out the flooring, work on joists and walls, and then there is another room, and another room. Unbelievable the work you have done. And every one of them looks so much better after. Year 3 and another cat on the scene! I wonder if they get along? You did a magnificent job on the chimney. I was spellbound watching that. Both of you do such an amazing job and the end result is always incredible. What a team!! The scenery is just gorgeous. What a beautiful spot in this old world. What a grand video. Such accomplishments! It will be so much fun to see what happens next: The final product! You are such a delightful couple and you work together so well. How wonderful is that? Thank you!

Marina! My heart skipped a beat when I saw the tile floor in the kitchen! I have one of those tiles on my shelf. I also got excited when I saw the small sections of drain pipes on your mantel that you were using as vases. I recognized the one all the way on the right. I miss the 'sensor' sign across Illia's exposed bottom. Always made me laugh.

Back in my day, we washed the dishes then were put out to work in a shop or laundry. My father used to say it was a waste of time letting girls go to college or learn a skill, they just get married. Yes, I'm 84 now, a different world back then. Well done and how proud to have done it all yourselves.!!! I have a question, what type of blocks are those you put on the inside of rht black insulation material? they are the color of concrete and appear heavy but the texture is different.......

I have been watching this channel and your main channel since you started. While the main channel is more detailed, I noticed parts of this video that were not in your previous videos on your main channel. That is alright. I enjoy this overview of your previous years and what to expect in the future. The worse: the rain when it flooded your farmhouse. The best: when you (finally) take a break and enjoy a beer/wine and especially those made by Monks. You are correct in that 'it is not possible to renovate in one year' especially if you are working and doing most of the work yourself.
