Thank you for this too. I have fond memories of Dehra Dun in 1970 when I was there to lecture on the Joys of European Classical music at the I.M.A. I loved visiitng the Forestry school and its grounds. I also gave a piano recital at Welhams girl school. I have very fond memories of my visit to Dehra Dun. Of course, it was less crowded then.

Dear Mr. Hamilton, Would you tell us a little about yourself and your fond association with Dehra Dun and Mussorie? Were you a teacher at Woodstaock? I gave a lecture recital (piano) there too in the 1970's. Now I live and teach on the other side of the world - too far! Too far away!

In 90s Dehra was much quieter and less modern. Today shops are decked up and more of young dressed up people, esp females can be seen on the roads, esp in more upbeat areas.
