I just LOVE powdering greens! My dehydrator would blow around the thinner/smaller bits that would dry out first - what a mess! I cut up old flour sack towels that were super thin (I bet cheese cloth would work too). Now I lay one on top of the greens on the tray. Works like a charm!

I took leftover metal screening material and cut it the same size as my dehydrator racks. I put them over the racks to keep the small shrinking food from falling to the bottom.

I did this a while back, got 3 or 4 bags of spinach. I was so proud that it all dehydrated so well and completely filled the cup of my blender. Oh the disappointment when I'd made the powder. Not even half a cup of powder

I don’t have a garden but found some in store. If you have a good dehydrator using frozen spinach is a breeze. Just damp them out dry.

Here's a TIP when making powders. Use a new, clean fan paint brush to get the leftover vegetable powder out of blender, the lid and your bowl.

If your oven has a warmer, you might be able to, I don't like to heat the leafy green over 130 degrees f, or you could just let them dry a few days on the counter, covered with a paper towel or paper bag till dry.
