@@Jaywon977It’s hard to put together a good line with transfers. It takes awhile for linemen to learn to play with each other. It’s much easier to replace 1-2 linemen a year then it is to replace the entire unit for this reason. Some of the new linemen you got really weren’t all that amazing at their previous schools. I do think your line will be better. I just don’t see it being good still.

Colorado has replaced nearly all of their O-line and D-line from last year via the portal... but will this be an improvement ? Probably somewhat, as last years was historically bad... but the Buffs have a tough schedule this year. My guess .. six wins + low rent bowl

What we are losing...is the future foundation as developmental players. The mercenary mentality does have short term gain, but questionable long term returns. I will feel much better when I actually see someone from 2025 commit. Losing Adam Hopkins today was a massive loss.

I 💯 agree. Him, O Miller, Dylan were like the initial corner pieces of the 23 class that gave Prume hos validation in the recruitment circle. Hopkins was ALL IN. Then they made him a DB and now he is gone. I would have loved to see that first class stay and build in CU. I believe he and O Miller were close friends. I just saw Alton leave this week. Anyyyyything seems possible now with the portal. I hope this has no impact on Miller deciding to stay.

Uhhh, CU was the 4th most watched football team last year. Matt, only one team from your beloved SEC drew in more viewers. Seeing that they won only 4 games, it’s clear that the Buffs have fans beyond hate watchers. O-line and D-line are better. Buffs lost 6 games by a score or less last year. So, no… they weren’t as awful as you make them sound. But you are right depth is critical and they are 15 scholarships short right now. Filling out a roster with guys you’re developing is important and this should be Prep players who you are trying to grow into being great. It’s an interesting experiment we are watching but Deion has improved the Buffs with every portal cycle the question is can he incorporate recruiting prep players and build a culture to keep them
