I'll never forget that Deion interception and dancing all the way to the endzone. One of my most vivid football memories still to this day. I forgot that we were fighting for 1st place in the NFC West that game. What a season 94 was!

The 1994 49ers were like a superteam. Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young. The greatest Wide Receiver of all time Jerry Rice. The greatest cornerback of all time Deion Sanders.

SUPERB. Thanks boss for the spotlight. Any 80's or 90's game you do from this era, and I'll definitely be in my box seat. Especially a 49ers game. Didn't think you'd do this one, so this is a wonderful surprise for my weekend. Deion had his best year as a pro, and really helped the squad get past Dallas. In Atlanta, the game was basically over when the 2nd quarter started hee haw. Loved how stacked we were then. Cheers mate :D

The 49ers said that this game & The Lions game the previous week was when the 94 team began to settle themselves. The defense got used to each other & the offensive line recovered from early injuries.

I’m an Atlanta native. I was 15 at the time. I still have that game on VHS, somewhere. Leading up to that game, I was SO hyped. The Falcons got their assess whipped, of course. We knew that, but it was all about Deion Sanders returning to The Georgia Dome vs. his old team. The fight between him and Andre Rison was one thing. The pick-six with him looking at the Falcons sideline all the way to the end zone was epic and savage at the same time.

I know we talk about Deion mainly as a Cowboy but 49ers Deion is, without a doubt, his absolute best. His 94 season is barely mentioned in regards to the greatest season for a CB & defensive players, in general. In regards to Greatest DB seasons - 2006 Champ, 2009 Revis, 1994 Deion.
