You correct that a losing record will hurt Shedeurs draft status. The only QB in history that had losing record draft first round was Jay Cutler Vanderbilt and many talking believes he was a big bust. But I must disagree with your record prediction. NDSU, Baylor (new big time QB) and schedule structure scares the hell out of me. UCF NEB KSU UT KU OSU AZ are all toss up due to their physical nature and big time up grades at the QB positions and trenches.

10-2 would be the best case scenario, I'm still picking 8-4, Nebraska is going to be one hell of a game. I say the Buffs beat NDS, CSU, Baylor, UCF, Arizona, Cincinnati, and Utah. Games where it's a toss up, OSU, KSU, Nebraska, and Texas Tech. The Jayhawks, I'm not sure about them, so I'm worst case scenario, bowl eligible at 7-5, best case 11-1, 8-4 is expected. Prime biggest hurdle will be not playing favoritism. I'm not sure he can put the best roster on the field without having 1-3 of his favorites out there regardless of their talent. He needs to make Travis pick a side and start at both skill positions. Yes, get in play on third downs, but limit his snaps to maybe a third going both ways so other guys can play. Can Jimmy Horn take the next step? He's a body catcher who's fast, but doesn't consistently beat man to man coverage. You would see a double move every once in awhile to sprint him open, but that's every once in awhile. Do you play Tyler Brown in front of Yakri Walker who needs to get bigger, Hank Z, or Cash Cleveland if they're better? What about Edwards? Start the season with him or have Edwards come in on third downs? Now he has gotten bigger, I think he's up 22 pounds since arriving on campus last year. We will see, Spring ball is going to big for the Buffs.

Starting line I would go Will Sheppard, Timmons or Omarion Miller, and Wester if they go three wide again at WR. Metayer at TE, LT, going with David Corner, Tyler Houston at Left Guard, Hank Z at center, Myers at right guard, and possible Benson or Washington at RT. RB, Alton or Edwards would be my top choices. If Edwards comes in at 200 pounds with the same speed? Hell get the start. Defense, if it's a 4-3, going with Wiggins at left DE, Barnes and McNeil at DTs, and Samuel Okunlola at DE. 3-4 Barnes, Chidozie, and Carter as the D-line. LBs, I hate to say it, but Bentley got better so he's in the Middle, going with Wade or Victoria Johnson on the outsides in a 4-3. 3-4, Wiggins, and Okunlola at the OLBs, Bentley and Johnson in the middle. DBs, Hunter, Cooper as the DBs, Shilo and Milner Jones as the safeties. This combination gets your size and speed across the board on both sides of the ball.

lol Arizona has owned the Buffs since the late 80s and the last time they played at the loud stadium in Tucson it was a blowout. next point Arizona has the best wide receiver in the NCAA along with the best rb room in the Big 12 along with the best linebacker in the conference along with the best offensive line in the Big 12 so last time we checked Brent Brennan is a better coach then Jedd San Jose State defensive units were top 25 in defense the last couple of seasons and Arizona really only lost one projected starter on offense and got a better rb room in return can the Buffs stop Arizona from running the ball or passing the football and Arizona has a better defensive unit.

True, the team was beat up after week 3, but that had more to do with a lack of quality depth. Unless there is a mass exodus after the spring game, the depth will be greatly improved, which should result in wins.
