The most charitable way to take what Deion said, is that he only lent his name to Prime Prep. OK. But it wasn't just a failure, it profoundly harmed students' lives. He said that the "failure" of Prime Prep -- a failure that directly caused kids to be ineligible for admission into universities, caused them to be stripped of scholarships, caused them to have Ivy League admissions revoked because the school wasn't accredited(?!) -- Prime Prep messed up a ton of lives, and his response is that this was "the best thing that ever happened to him"... because he learned a lesson? That's honestly an effed up response from Coach Prime.

I was going to grad school in Fort Worth during that time. I am optimistic about Deion Sanders (especially on the coaching aspect). However, I still feel skeptical of his motives after Prim Prep. I feel like there is some type of ulterior motives.
