What did he do to change it? I’m so tired of seeing this comment. When he first went to Jackson state, prime asked, “I don’t understand how HBCU aren’t represented at a high level” well this is exactly why. A coach will come into a team that finishes 1-11, take them to a 12-0 record his first year, and then leave for greener pastures taking all the D1 athletes he recruited, leaving the program to go 1-11 again. Coach Prime thought he was the exception, no coach, you are the rule

Man i have mixed feelings on this. I guess I selfishly wished he would stay a little longer. I mean I think we all knew it wasn’t gonna be forever but jobs like Colorado would be there every single year. He wasn’t gonna not get his shot at coaching for a big time program. Why do I wish this? The longer a coach stays with a program the bigger his mark on that program. So you create something that has a chance to not only survive but actually grow in your spirit independently of your presence. Good example would be his assistant coaches. One or two more seasons watching him do what he does could of helped one of them step right into his shoes. Unfortunately I would be willing to bet you visit this school in 4 years and the only thing that will be similar to how it is right now is everyone talking about how Deion left for Colorado. Just a couple more years and you could really affect change. Hopefully I’m wrong though but I bet I’m right

And of course I will share the coach’s Jackson state passed on because I (a regular citizen with no ties to the school) am obviously privy to all the decisions and going’s on of a random colleges football program and well versed in the resumes of every coach on the lower rung of college football and therefore can easily answer your stupid question meant only to distract from the wider point I was illustrating, it’s good to know that there will still always be assholes on the internet whose sole purpose in life is to ask meaningless questions in response to reasonable points made in a vain attempt to undermine valid criticism
