After an exciting week of college football, Joel Klatt joins Colin Cowherd to share his thoughts on some of the biggest matchups of the weekend. They start with the Colorado Buffaloes, who suffered a demoralizing loss against the Oregon Ducks, and are looking to bounce back... but they'll have a big hill to climb facing off against Caleb Williams and the USC Trojans. Klatt tells Colin whether he believes Deion Sanders can pull off this upset. They also talk the Ohio Buckeyes last-second win vs. Notre Dame, and the surprising performance from the Washington Huskies and their quarterback Michael Penix Jr.

Klatt has mentioned several times on his podcast and now here, that it’s amazing that people were watching the Oregon vs Colorado game after it was a blowout. His take is that people are just so hyped on Colorado….I would argue that many of the people watching were staying tuned in to see just how bad Oregon destroyed Colorado. That’s the part he’s either leaving out on purpose or just missing altogether.
@who.is.kswervo
@who.is.kswervo 8 ай бұрын
"many people" doesn't equate to 10 million though. Some people may have, but not that many. His take is correct. Also, the point is people are watching...regardless of their opinion of Colorado. They still had more viewers than Ohio State vs Notre Dame which went down to the last play. A blowout is a blowout, nobody really sticks around to see the point margin, you can just google it after the game. So the fact that people still stuck around to watch a team that was 1-11 a year ago is why people are so amazed, regardless of whether you like them or not. I'm not sure exactly of why this is a foreign concept, but people will support Deion and Colorado WIN or LOSE, it doesn't matter.

Clemson is still Clemson at the end of the day. They’ve been stacking up top 10 recruiting classes for 5 years & it’s insanely hard to win at Death Valley. That’s a good win especially with Travis playing with one arm.

FSU beat a Clemson team backed in a corner in Death Valley where Clemson was 26-2. Along with an injured QB. Maybe they should just play 4 cupcakes at home like the others on that list 🤔.

Did FSU hurt Joel’s feelings or something? He hates FSU. HATES. He doubted us in the offseason and had to eat some humble pie after came out of Sept. 4-0. He’ll be eating more pie later on.

Washington and USC should both be ranked in the top five by the time they play each other. I’m definitely going to be attending that game along with a UCLA and Utah ☕️✌🏾🏈

Is UCLA your team? If not, why the UCLA and Utah game? UCLA is probably the 7th best team in the conference.

Ohio State had more yards, gave up less yards, scored more points, had a higher avg yard per play, and ESPN’s predictor only gave OSU less than a 50% chance to lose for 10 out of 60 minutes.

That’s the team I’m most afraid of too, but the silver lining is that usc can actually get to the qb this year and that’s huuuuuge. We can get better at tackling in the secondary but you can’t teach a ferocious d line. We got the talent. The d is now good enough that if we get to the playoff we can be what LSU was 2019
