I think we all liked Prime as a NFL GOAT but I don’t think no owner is dumb enough to hire someone who hasn’t shown he cares enough to really learn how to develop a game plan and run a team. At some point he has to be held accountable for the lack of player development at Colorado. He started last year taking the short cut route to building a team by taking 60% of his players via the portal which showed he wasn’t serious about really being a long-term solution in Boulder.

How is it hating? This dude simply stated facts. Moreover Prime has been extremely petty of late with anybody that states the obvious. The reality is that Prime is relevant not his program as they have yet to accumulate tangible results. In addition Prime is generating all kinds of revenue with commercials and appearances. It isn't as he was of enough relevance post retirement until he became a college coach. As far as we know none of that revenue is going to the college or its players. If he were to leave to take on another job for a better opportunity it will make the Colorado program irrelevant once again. Something that would be hypocritical considering some his recent petty statements. So it isn't hating to state facts. His situation just has bad optics and his war with the press has only diminished his credibility if he takes on better opportunities as he should. If an opportunity is there he should take it, but don't expect silence from critics. Especially if he doesn't have immediate success. The narrative around him is just to circle back around to his resume at Colorado.
