What is your favorite thing about the Mason & Hamlin sound?

Although I do not play the piano ( nor any instrument ) I have become so very impressed by the MH's great clarity and richness of tone. The notes have excellent individuality--they don't drown each other out, and there is great range in volume--played loudly or softly, the music doesn't degenerate in quality. God bless you, MH, for many years to come.

I know the M&H is most famous for its bass and treble, but that tenor section is astounding on this piano. When Dejan plays the forte fortissimo passage, the tenor is so rich and full. Many other pianos would have gone harsh from all that energy. I don't think it's possible to distort of the tone of this piano.

This MH bar none is absolutely heavenly. It’s beyond what most typical high end pianos are capable of. I have always and will always love M&H that started with me hearing my fantastic pianist Grandmother playing as a toddler on her 1924 M&H to years later when I studied seriously on the same instrument. Just a work of art that lifts the soul & spirit. So glad M&H is back on their game. Simple the best!!!

@@hastensavoir7782Yeah. over the years the company has had alot of ups & downs & changed hands… resulting in inferior quality. at least they survived because at heart, in their DNA, they are one of the best in the world.

My friends describe the sound of my cc as velvety. I think of it a warm, cozy in the mid and lower range yet brilliant in the upper range.

His short fragment of the Rachmaninov piano concerto is so good. It is a really tight piano with a wonderful tone. So great to see this brand resurrected. I just hope the can keep it going under the onslaught of the Chinese companies, and shrinking population of people who can afford a grand piano
