Idk what happened to the defense as a whole on quite a few of those plays. Too many broken coverages. Great tackling when they were actually where they were supposed to be though. Tj and Minkah were missing tackles they never miss. The weather was too much of a factor.

After 14 unanswered points and down 24-14, on the road, I thought it was over. Then - BAM!! - they go right down the field and punch in 6. I have to keep reminding myself that Russ is still working out the kinks. I see the offense improving as the weeks pass. This is kind of a weird stand-alone season, what with the quarterbacks on one-year deals. The running back playing for a contract. The acquisition of Williams and Smith. The growing pains/progress of the young O-line. The stellar play of special teams. Even Tomlin seems different this year, coming across as genuinely excited about his squad. I'm sure it beats standing at the postgame podium every week trying to explain a bogged down, predictable offense. Anyway, this is shaping up as one of the most exciting and enjoyable seasons in a long, long time. Keep it going! Beat them Ravens!

Man doesn’t it feel good to score 7 points vs settling for field goals!!! That’s the biggest takeaway and should be a talking point. We’re improving in the red zone from offense perspective. You can always expect teams to play the Steelers as if it’s a Super Bowl game, so we can’t be overly critical when teams are giving us their best shot. Also is starting to become apparent Russell is tapping into his career from Seattle. He didn’t even mention Denver in the press conference.

Defense only gave up 243 yds. The no whistle Warren fumble, failed fake punt, and the D penalties helping out Washington on 3rd down really made the game closer than it should have been. Steelers played very well on defense, despite the scoreboard.

Pierre running into Brown at the end wasn’t a good play, he’s lucky a flag wasn’t thrown cause that was pass interference. I hate seeing him out there, maybe Sutton should be the next man up or Trice or Henderson or anyone. Having him out there at the most important time in the game is scary
