Dude, it can be the final conclusion to the show if you want it to be. No one made you watch the others. And the fact that it isn't real life makes it matter even less. Many people loved this show so much that they were glad to get a few extra episodes that they could enjoy before the show retired for good.

Agree they should have left it alone when they walked off into the sunset as millionaires. Perfect ending. If they did HAVE to bring it back they should have kept the money rather than go back to square one. Lots of scope for great storylines of Del trying to mingle with the superrich but still being a commoner at heart.
@truth9014 жыл бұрын
Agree with that very much!! I know John Sullivan's thinking was that 'rich people' just arent funny so that why the footage of them in the 2001 episode as millionaires is only about 3 mins long...he wanted to bring them back to square 1 to make those episodes work...but I do agree with you that going down that route could've worked really well! (A bit like in Ace Ventura 2 when he mingles at the elites party...and pokes fun of them!)

Only Fools & Horses should have ended here. It was a fitting ending. I never understood why John Sullivan wrote the script where they lost all the money.
