I love this. I used to be an atheist and addicted to porn but I got so afraid I was gonna loose my marriage and I got desperate and I actually asked Jesus while in my car to give me self control. Life changed that instant. I no longer had that urge for porn, and I saw women differently. I knew I was no longer a atheist but a believer. God is good. God is real. Praise the Lord Jesus.

NONSENSE. It seems he can't spare innocent little children from dying in horrible pain, while he does NOTHING to save them. And he doesn't lift a finger when the helpless and undeserving are suffering unspeakable cruelties at the hands of the wicked. "God", if he existed at all, would have to be savagely cruel, or completely uncaring, or utterly useless. @stevecarson4162 Hi, Let me just say that evil is the devil and the devil "THINKING" he was all powerful wanted to be God and thus rebelled and came down to earth, now when the first man and woman were made on earth, they sinned by disobeying God and listening to the devil, which eventually brought sin (lying, stealing, disobedience etc). The devil tempted and deceived them into THINKING they could become like God but he lied and they gave into that temptation and sinned. God did not want Adam and Eve (first humans to be made) to sin but they did cause the were deceived and tempted by the devil and know that God doesn't control the devil because God is Holy and does not have anything to do with sin and evil except destroying it, he can do that if we also allow him to by accepting him and know that Adam and Eve were happy before being deceived and even though the devil was there he couldn't do anything because God was protecting them and Adam and Eve chose to stick with God. And Satan cannot to anything to them cause God is too powerful and Satan knows that and is defeated but now when they/we choose to sin (do evil= evil = Satan) That's OUR choice not the Lord's and the lord gave us freewill so he can't control us like puppets, we choose to go to sin or to righteousness (so we choose heaven or hell) God isn't weak, in fact he's Holy and POWERFUL but he also has nothing to do with evil except defeating it effortlessly for us if we allow him to by turning against sin. God isn't cruel, he really does love us and wants to help us if we allow him to by accepting him and his son and following him the one and true God, and the moment we do that all evil is gone from our lives and all depression, issues and sin is gone, and the devil cannot put a finger on us if we stick with God and believe. And his son Jesus dying on the cross was not at all a waste because if he didn't, we all being sinners and loving sin (adultery, lying, stealing etc) we would go to hell, and even though all may still sin (cause we are sinners after all) the beauty of God is that he still loves us and will accept us and we will accept him and leave all sin behind if willing. Jesus died on the cross , taking all our sins, basically giving himself as an apology gift for all sins we did so we wont have to go to hell without a choice. Now we can choose heaven (truth and life) or Hell (eternal suffering) The only thing that can stop anyone from being wicked is to accept Jesus Christ into your heart so he will not only save you but pour you will so much love and acceptance and by doing all God wishes for us to do because he wants us to be holy (even though we sinners) for he is holy, he wants he's children with him in heaven. So you have free will to choose him or sin and the devil Last thing, Jesus died and God resurrected him on the third day, Jesus conquered death by the power of God and is in Heaven. Truth is Heaven is there and we think it's in the sky but we don't know where it is but the fact that the Bible (truth) says it's there, makes me content. Have a good evening/day Steve ❤️😊

I was lesbian too and even though I didn't party or hop from one night stand to the next, actually having stable relationships 3 times for 19years, I had no peace. I honestly felt in the relationships like I'm searching for something I will never find. I was closeted completely in just that only the person I'm dating and their friends would know me and everyone else would assume I'm straight. My relationships always seemed like I'm pouring more than what I received every time and it would frustrate me and I end up resenting the people I was with. I just want to thank the Lord that when I ended my last relationship last year August, I decided to attend the Bible School program my church had always advised members to attend (by the way I was and still am a church goer). There is where I met the Lord and decided to finally give my life to Christ. I attended the full two weeks and my life has never been the same ever since. Today I am delivered. All praises to God

Good for our brother. I also am a man of God who once was a slave to the longings of homosexuality, but has been set free and no longer longs for the same sex or any sex for the matter. I don't desire a wife, nor do I desire to be a father, but if the Lord plans for me to be one, I accept His lead. I don't have a obvious libido toward the opposite sex, so I assumed he stripped me of my libido and made me a spiritual eunich. But I am still a healthy and capable man, so maybe not. When he sets you free, it's a relief nothing else on this world has been able to compete with. I cried his story sounds familiar to mine with the law. I was a social alcoholic since I was 13 and one day on my sisters birthday I got destroyed with alcohol and got violent (usual response) and got into a fight with another woman and went to jail. I was sitting in a cell telling myself I don't belong here what am I doing. I went to church a week later and had the elders of the church pray the charges get dropped because I was about to lose my professional career. The morning they prayed by 6 pm I get a call from my lawyer stating my charges were dropped by the prosecutor. I cried by the mercy he had on me and that was the last time I drank alcohol almost 2 years ago! I knew God gave me a second chance and answered my prayer to stop drinking alcohol. In his own way he got me sober because I was so stubborn : D that was the only way... He is REAL!

"Journey" I used that same word when I first was coming to Christ and baptized. I opened my heart to the journey. That was in 2015. I had no ides that the journey would have so much heartache while simultaneously encompassing peace and joy. Ive found myself and Ive lost myself, over and over. Yet, Ive seen the grace of His hand each of those times. I know what life looks like without Him, and thats not a life I ever want to return to. January of this year I got baptized, declaring that this life and body is His and although my first baptism was special, this one was when I truly felt the washing away of my old life. My Journey wasnt glamorous whatsoever, but its a road that has led me to Him.

I am a straight woman but listening to your story sounds like my story with my mother she made me and my siblings go to church without her. She believed in the Lord, but did not walk the walk until she got much older. She has passed on and she passed on saved and loving the Lord, she was very abusive not a very good mother in the end. I have forgiven her and I love her dearly and miss her.

My family is as supportive as any family that I have ever witnessed. They have loved me as much as they could, and God knows I have indeed tested them at times! Why then, in my times of trouble, have I hid from them? Why did I not go to the people that have loved me the most, helped me the most, and know me the best in my darkest hour? It is easier said than done, of course, and practice makes perfect. If you have ever raised a child or even a dog, there are moments when you can see when they have done something wrong. With my dog, the moment that I walk in the door I can usually tell if she has done something that she is ashamed about. She will slink away from me, often not even greeting me at the door. If she does welcome me, it is with a noticeable difference in excitement. I have always treated my dog with love, but when she does something that I won't like, she knows it. Can't you picture Adam and Eve acting similarly here? Adam and Eve knew they went against God. Like a young child with a sibling, Adam quickly points the finger at Eve to blame her and not take responsibility for his actions. If you were Adam and Eve, how would you act? God gave them life and has shown them only paradise, and they seem to forget it immediately! Do not take this love for granted! Go to your loved ones and seek help from them, admit your faults if you need to, and quickly ask for forgiveness. Nobody is perfect, but we can learn from Adam and Eve and our own mistakes and get better and closer to whom we genuinely care about.
