I’ve seen Delain live three times in Canada, when headlining they have to play in small clubs unfortunately, but I heard them in a good concert hall when they were opening for Nightwish. The music industry wants to control what we listen to, but I think this pandemic is throwing a spanner into their works because of reaction channels bringing new music from around the world to everyone, and this is good :) How about some Mexican music is Spanish, three sisters have a band called “The Warning” and they wrote a song in Spanish called “Narcisista” as an FU to all the people complaining that all of their songs were in English. I love this song. Glad you enjoyed it too. You mentioned you would like to hear a European band singing a song in their own language. There is an all female Finnish group called Indica who recorded a song in both Finnish and English. The English version is called Straight and Arrow. The Finnish version is called Pahinta Tanaan and their are videos of both versions on KZbin. They are sort of pop/rock. Not sure if they are your cup of tea but it would give you an opportunity to check out both versions. Fun fact they supported Nightwish on their Scandinavian tour in 2007.

delain is a fantastic high quality band from the netherlands, but try listen to a another dutch band named BLACKBRIAR (mortal remains) zoras voice give a haunting feeling. love that band!!

You should try Amaranthe from Sweden with the song The Nexus, and Eluveitie from Switzerland with the song Rebirth ( it will blow your mind)
