@@DelawareOutdoor on kayak I have Minn kota trolling motor now. But I have a boat I can crab in.

@@FishyAngler best crabbing is for sure in MD, from your boat I recommend Tred Avon and the Chester River around mid to late September. Those crabs are starting to show up now. In Delaware though this time of year you can launch out of Augustine beach outside of Delaware City and should be able to do well

@@DelawareOutdoor thanks. That’s what I already heard that Chesapeake has bigger crabs. I’ll definitely try there, but want to see what’s closer to home.

@@FishyAngler for sure! Best crabs are out of the Chesapeake, especially out of the Chester or Wye river going into late September or October. Not sure what’s closer in Delaware but Augustine beach will produce, recommend having some open top traps with 15-20’ of line, usually use chicken necks and bunker for bait.

This is beyond awesome to me. I just saw my first crab in south jersey near the DE yesterday while striper fishing. what stretch of the DE is this? I’ve tried crabbing b4 with no luck maybe it was my homemade trap lol
