Both, bad in the sense that the new release date might have it possibly clash with yotei if it releases in the same window , Good because during the investor call they said they are gonna give a hands on this month hopefully meaning we will get a preview two months before the game is out which if it is good word of mouth from journalist and content creators will boost the hype

I say this is good, seeing as this game has gotten more time in development than almost every other AC game. I think the devs are excited to have more time to perfect their creation and let it strike the audience as the best game since Black Flag or Origins.

I see it as good. It’s clear Ubisoft are focusing more on delivering a very polished product over instead of making a quick profit. They’ve had a lot of guts to push it back this much so hopefully it pays off

I understand they're trying to deliver a good product but with as many delays and pushbacks as they have gotten, this tells me that if this game does not sell well this could be a nail in a coffin for Ubisoft especially if the rumors are true about 10 cent buying them.

The problem here is what's actually unfinished. Having mechanics not working and not having the complete story are abismally different. In a year we'll have a close to finished product if they keep updating it.

I think they'll use the month of February for more marketing things and to not compete with Monster Hunter. I don't think there's a big video game releasing this march that's why.

It’s bad news but in the investor call they said they are gonna invite content creators , journalists and such for Hands on experience this month so at least there is that😢, men i was so ready but the lack of marketing one month from release should’ve being a red hearing

It's good that they're postponing it again (but not too much anyway), if the teams need these few extra weeks it's for the good of the game AND the players. Better for it to be delayed than buggy to the bone. What Marc-Alexis Côté says is very encouraging, Ubisoft is listening to feedback and it's a very nice step forward. Journalists and influencers will be able to play Shadows next week, this is very good news and it will give Ubisoft time to improve (without crunch), so this postponement is good news and it's a good strategy in the end

I don't mind since i haven't played video games since last year in October so by the time i do get back to playing the game I'll be able to play it by then and I'll be playing it on the ps5 for the first time. Only because i want the full experience and effect of the game. Have too many xbox games as is as well lol.

This does not surprise me in the slightest, I've said it many times before and I'll say it again but my hope for this game was nonexistent considering it's literally the same studio that made Odyssey and I hated that game. However if there are people that are excited about this game and look forward to playing it then I hope this game is what you're wanting and expecting.

I mean, seeing it get delayed again to fix as many issues as possible that can be in the game, I see that as a win. Odyssey was honestly a phenomenal game and a great addition to the Assassin's Creed brand if you ask me. It's not the best game in the series, but far from the worst. I think this game is doing its best with the extra time it's receiving. Shadows was originally in development for 4 years, which is more than Odyssey by a half to a full year, and then the delays are just to make it even better.

That's your opinion and everyone is allowed to have an opinion but for me Odyssey is where my love of the Assassin's Creed series died, I could not play past the prologue scene after you got the ship, the story did not hook me the writing was not that good. But like I said if people enjoy Shadows good for them, I for one will not be buying the game. ​@@coltongold

​@@ac_nerd9794I can understand that part especially if it means they're fixing issues but that doesn't change the fact that this is still a massive concern and to me makes me feel like this is not going to be a good game. I don't care what the trailers say or what the new footage shows, my hype for this game is at an all-time zero. Going back to what I said if people like shadows and enjoy playing it then it's good for them and I hope it's a game they enjoy, as for me I will always love and remember Assassin's Creed the way it used to be. I have been a fan of this franchise since 2011 when I got my first PlayStation 3 with brotherhood ac2 and ac1, I love the old AC games AC3 and up to a point unity and Origins. That's it

Been a fan since I was in my first year of highschool when ac2 released. there have been a lot of let downs, but this is the assassins creed game I actually won be buying at launch, or have any real desire to play. 2 decades of wanting an AC Japan, but it was a monkey paw. What they gave us was George Floyd running around cosplaying as a samurai. I think this will be the final game in the franchise, at least under Ubisoft
