Delayed Flights Due to Heavy Snow, Hokkaido Seafood Tempura Restaurant, Sapporo Observatory Ep. 388

Flying back to Tokyo Narita Airport from Sapporo Shin-Chitose Airport. Due to heavy snow, all flights were delayed and everyone gets frustrated (Be ready if you are visiting Hokkaido during Winter season) but I could enjoy beautiful snow view with Beer and foods overall I really enjoyed it!

It's always a safer bet to take the train out of Sapporo during snow festival season. Put Toriton on your list when you come back to Sapporo. Just queue early or else your wait time may exceed 2hrs

We did not know about the underground walk when we visited in snowy Sapporo years ago. We were dragging our luggage in the snow from Sapporo station to the hotel. Luckily we found out about the underground walk days before making our way back to the station few days later.

What an advanture of a return journey - comfortably to watch in a warm bed, but I could simpatize with you due to the freezing conditions so typical for Sapporo - even at the station. The views of the snowy town from the observatory while enjoying a Sapporo beer uncomparable 👏👏👏. I am glad you could finally eat that Hokkaido seafood in the airport. The packed departure lobby due to delays while waiting for your flight might have been really tiring in spite of interesting stuff characteridtic only for Hokkaido in the shops. I might assume how pleased you were finally embarking the plain. I admire your energy after such a long journey after reaching Tokyo. Thanks a lot for the whole Sapporo adventure - it was a great fun. Anyhow if you are still planning some snowboarding it would be wise to choose some place close to Tokyo to be reached by train to avoid the travel problems. Coming from South East Asia Rion, I am surprised how high the cold tolerance of Japanese people. I can still remember back in April 2018 when we visited tokyo, there's a few days where the temperature was around 0'c to 4'c and it was painful. We could barely feel our fingers much more hold and type on google maps in our phone.🤣 For the next 2 or 3 days, we looked all over tokyo to buy gloves but they are either sold out or already out of season so shops don't stock them anymore. We are able to buy some in a very small shop owned by a nice old lady, they are cheap and old stocks but still new with tags, we bought like 7 pairs.🤣🤣

Nice vlog once again Rion San. The observatory deck looks like the perfect spot for photo shooting of the snow-filled city :) Wondered how it looks like at night. 北海道といえばやっぱりロイズのチョコが有名ですよね、六花亭のバターサンドも古くから人気ですね😊白い恋人のドリンクがそれほど甘くなさそうで驚きました（一本200kcal位ですね）パロディの面白い恋人、初めて聞きました😂さすが大阪。札幌ってあまり雪のイメージなかったのですが、バリバリ雪国ですね☃️道もまっすぐで広いですね。カニ🦀2万円驚きました。そして、ぶっちゃけ超ピザポテト🍕がこの旅で一番実は美味しかったんじゃないかと、にわかに疑っています😂海鮮丼に六千円は勇気いりますね😭ウニの『なるほど、、』頭ポリポリ、、が味をものすごく物語っていました🤣 無事東京に戻ってこられて良かったです✈️‼️次は夏にまた北海道に行かれるといいと思います👍ありがとうございました😊

I keep seeing that bldg, not knowing it has a high level view deck, and it's free! In fact, we went to the first bldg infront of that tower. I think it's called Bic Tower where electronic gadgets are for sale for I think from ground to the 6th floor. Lots and lots of gadgets. One whole floor is a Uniqlo store, the biggest in Sapporo, if not in Japan. This I'm sure, we ate at the 10th floor wherein the food hall is located. Ate ramen there which incidentally, has 2 branches here in Makati and Clark. Gotta be back, for sure.
