I have been living in Hokkaido for 9 years and absolutely love it. You get the both of both worlds, by living in the country and also having a mini Tokyo with Saporro being close by. The rent is super cheap compared to Tokyo, with plenty of apartments at the 30,000 yen ($300) level. My house is a bit old but warm at only 15,000 yen ($150) dollars a month. Food is absolutely amazing.

I used to live in Sapporo on my student exchange!! 😊 Something i highly recommend is visiting the Sapporo JR Tower! You can get even better panoramic views of the city than the TV tower can provide, its also higher and i think cheaper! I also recommend a Hike up to Mt Moiwa as opposed to catching the cable car, its not difficult or long and has amazing views and nature is always 10/10
@brandosbloc7 жыл бұрын
Diego Fernando I guess how disconnected it is from the rest of Japan, as well as how distant everything is in Hokkaido. You can imagine as a 16 year old how much I wanted to explore the major parts of Japan but also how difficult it actually was to do so. Winter was of course awesome, and skiing was part of my school curriculum which was cool, something we really just don’t get down in Australia. There wasn’t really too much to dislike about the city itself though, its easy to navigate, lots of things to do around the city, the mountains are close by skiing can be done 30 minutes from the city centre, its just not an ideal place for someone who wants to travel the rest of Japan

Hello. I have some questions. Is sapporo good for part-time job? What would be salary per hour(part time)? Can i found there 25000 yen per month apartment or rooms for living?
@MrDanisve4 жыл бұрын
@@Emppu_T. Even here in Norway we rarly use spiked tires anymore. Cause they are pretty much only better on pure ice, while the soft winter tires are better on pretty much any other surface. Havnt had spikes in 20 years. They are just annoying, lose a ton of spikes if you spin. And they can quite easy spin on asphalt when you try to get out from an intersection. They make tons of noise. They pollute a ton since they send asphalt dust into the air that they tear up. Goverment has now huge "spike tire" tax in the bigger cities. Pretty much only old stubborn men that still buys them, well cause they are stubborn and knows best. Science dont mean anything to them :P
