I just picked up the delays first album today really enjoyed the songs i was shocked and saddened to learn the singer died just 3 years ago a young man . Music is eternal and his voice lives on in this world . God bless him

@sham Bolic I was the same, I remember it was summer, listening to this song, cramming all nighters for my uni finals. A whole other time and energy and mindset just flashed back when I played this...I am equally as jaded and quite a lot bitter now. This was one of those times where you almost forget for an instant...just for an instant

Just heard about Delays' frontman passing. Moment of respect for Greg Gilbert. Cancer is no longer with you, dude. I hope you find a heavenly place. This is about all I know from the delays...I tend to sort of associate them in the same breath with Keane, although maybe I'm doing them a dis-service thinking that...In remember this song being on all the time for a period back in the day...another thing I associate it with is coming back later from the pub and that very special period between 3 and 5am that only belong to the monged...this song also some what reminds me in parts of the New radicals song, get what you give...

This song passed me by as a kid in 2004. I finally heard it for the first time last year when listening to a show on BBC Radio 2 called Pick Of The Pops which was playing songs that were in the charts that week in 2004. I thought it was a brilliant song. This was just a few months before Greg's passing. RIP.
