Delete idler pulley 350Z / G35 / FX35 / FX45

That idler tensioner was used on older maxima and pathfinders it spun a fan but those aren’t on g35s/350zs so deleting it gives slightly faster engine performance and response

Wait but the G35 has a fan too, at least my sedan. That's whats been making life pain for doing anything up front

@@vq.niq. I'm almost 100% sure we could get the electric fans and the wiring and hook it up, the fuse it needs is probably already there or fairly easy to add. In place of the fan you'd just put an idler pulley like the electric fan models I'm assuming. Would be a convenient upgrade if working on it a lot lol

Are the idler pulley bolts necessary to go back on or can I run the vehicle without those bolts since it wouldn’t be holding anything anymore?

Once you remove the engine out, it's pretty easy. Took me three days just to remove the engine from my car though, i still haven't put it back in yet :(

My 03 G35 has a belt driven fan attached to the idler pulley. Maybe I could delete it?

It allows your car to use its power better from lost rotational mass that is not needed with that pulley it makes it rev quicker
