Shampoo your hair again. When you get the lather going, take your hair (with the lather on it) and rub it on your edges to help lift the color. This usually works right after you rinse out the color. However, since you used all of the items you listed, I’m not sure how quickly it’s going to work. Don’t worry, the color on the hairline will fade away eventually. You can take some Vaseline and apply it to your hairline and wipe with a towel and rub. Hopefully this will work for you.
@ellachallas21 күн бұрын
2:02 This is going to sound like a joke, but it’s worth a shot- try unscented baby wipes and micellar water. Also, since the color dyed your edges, you might want to try using something like dawn or head and shoulders with zinc. If you used an oxidation dye (direct dye or no ammonia), then vitamin c crushed up would help break the bond. Hope that helps! 🤍

My mom always told me to save a bit of the hair dye because hair dye removes hair dye, I think you put some of the leftover cream on the affected skin for a minute and then rub it off and it should remove the stain, then use lots of soap and water right away to wash off all the dye you just applied to your skin. Good luck!!

Any lotion or oil first on your skin or the thin paper rolls now I’ve used baking soda mild scrub but my skin is really dry and my natural color to cover my gray is chestnut brown is not the very dark black dye so not sure if that would work in this case. To get it off just try a few times a day with a soft exfoliant then light oil Vit E or coconut or which ever you use even nice almond or olive oil to keep from irritating your skin too much. It’s hard with my hair line because it’s not just gray it’s white streaks so it’s hard to cover and not stain my forehead. It’s hard to do your self. Put the protector on before the dye. Then check in a brightly lit mirror right away because you can wipe it off easier before it sets on your skin… real hairdressers can tell you more or better but I just remind the girl before she starts painting my hair to put the protector on please because my skin absorbs it fast. Then they check again after it’s done a wipe off and over painted skin. My daughter did it for me last time we used a really light paintbrush no kidding and she just did not lay it too thick near my face. Good luck maybe you can wear a head band until it wears off. Nail polish remover is too strong maybe vinegar but nothing toxic to your skin you could get a reaction that would be worse than the dye!
@SecondMileDIY21 күн бұрын
You are cracking me up! 😂 you seriously can’t see it until you point it out. But it will fade in a day or two if you can’t use coconut oil on it. I’ve done that so many times myself!!!

Hey so for the HAIR COLOR ....color removes color so before you were to rinse it out you could have just rubbed your black hair over your edges (when your skin is) and then removed it with a wipe. Or you can get color remover pads, they remove hair color. I forgot which ones I used when I had my salon. Hope this helps.

@@doughdashthat's why. The dye soaks into the skin without any barrier on it. Vaseline IS the barrier to protect areas from getting dyed. Next time, you can also put Vaseline on the edges of your ears too. Just in case your wrist touches them, THEY WON'T turn black too. 😮
@Grungefan20182 күн бұрын
Trying to get many stylists who know your skin gets easily dyed (because you have been to them many many times ) continue to dye your hair without a blocker THEN afterwords they get cheap with the remover . After you spend $150 plus 25% tip. I just do not understand . I stopped going because they talk and talk about themselves Rush you thru and I’m just sitting there listening. I literally look like crap because I live on a rural area and cannot find another stylist . My hair is very fine and thin so I can’t get my hair dyed then have it fixed . This is so depressing

Hello, lady. For the dye issue, try a little olive oil or coconut oil. If that doesn't work, try a little Dawn with baking soda. If you don't like the idea of Dawn, try lemon juice or anti-dandruff shampoo mixed with baking soda. If all else fails, use white vinegar. Each of these methods requires your concoction to sit 5 to 20 minutes, except the oilve or coconut oil, which could take 1 to 2 hours or overnight for best results❤Good luck!

Girl! I was like "whats up with her edges?! 😅" I always dye my hair black and havent had that... what kind of dye did you use?? I do try to put vaseline on my edges beforehand so i guess that works... let us know what worked to get it off. 😂

If you use some of the color (weird, I know), and rub it on the spots on your head with a soft cloth, it will come off. My hairdresser does that with mine and it’s jet black.☺️
