OMG.. these scenes NEEDED to be in the movie. Too bad there isn't a "directors cut" out there... these scenes provide an enormous amount of context to that movie.
@ooops372Ай бұрын
Just a matter of economies ... these scenes are relatively "slow", and the producers needed the movie(s) to fit into a time scheme.

These scenes should have never been deleted. They add a special, darker nuance to the film. It's like adding just the right spice to give that chili a little extra kick.

Pamela Landie sure knocks on the door a lot. (00:00:00-00:01:26) The first scene is quite good actually. (00:09:19-00:11:46) Makes a lot of sense and really sets these two characters apart.

10:04 on this clip is "Sir a red flag just came up on the hub." I'm watching "Deleted Scenes | The Bourne Ultimatum (2007)" At 10:04 when I clicked on it a minion said "Sir a red flag just came up on the hub." In the movie at 10:04 when he is identified in the embassy the marine says "You! The red bag, the red bag! Stop right there!" I have no idea why you made your initial comment.
@MichaelSTaylor2 ай бұрын
@@annon231 Jason Bourne is associated with a red bag in the first film. A red flag appears in this film, representing Jason Bourne. So it's entirely possible a person could make this reference because bag and flag rhyme. You substitute flag instead of bag, and the joke makes sense if you remembered the red bag reference in the first film. 999 times out of a thousand when you have to explain a joke, it's no longer funny - but you seemed clueless, so I made the effort, you're welcome.

I'm confused about the beginning with Pam getting fired. Not sure what the point of that was. Was the original plan that she'd been let go but then they realized she was the only one that could find Bourne so they brought her back?

We don't know where in the plot sequence that might have been planned. Also, in the Bourne films there's a lot of improvisation (chaos!) during shooting.
