Tbh, I separate the series from the author…I’m just like, “I love Harry Potter…but who wrote this because I don’t know who wrote it.” lol, yes we don’t like bigots but honestly I don’t even associate the author anymore anyway. I just enjoy the media as is. The movies are way better. 😂

Same! Harry Potter was my childhood, and she was an inspiration for me. I honestly hate how the author turned out to be and still keeps on going on and has learned nothing from her problematic and hateful words, still to this day, even when people tried to explain and correct her she didn't care🙄 It made me also read the books less at first even tho i love to re-read them. Just like you wrote, i kinda had to separate the books/ Harry Potter world from her to want to read it again. Same with Hogwarts Legacy the company who made it has a statement on their page that she has nothing to do with it, which i am glad about because i honestly don't like her at all anymore.
