Orr… maybe those two tracks are the only ones Nintendo has done as of the direct. It is still several months away from the holiday, ( when wave three releases) so there is a big possibility that they just wanted to show off the tracks that they have done. It is also very difficult (especially for a team of game developers as large as Nintendo) because you’d loose all the progress that they achieved. This happened to Mojang. They wanted to change the game after a big leak, but couldn’t because “it was like turning a train around with their bare hands”

Ok ok, I am taking the leed. The name's rof, beni.rof, and I am the ORIGINAL CREATOR of this so called "Leak". You may have already seen someone name "Cute character Power" presenting himself has the Reddit post creator. It is correct, However, that "leak" was made by myself and published by him because I do not have a reddit account. Now now, to make things clearer for you all : 1- This is not a leak, I am not a leaker, and not an insider either. 2- This is, as I think you said, a Mostly Accurate Preview, wich means that something like 90% of those tracks are confirmed, some of them (the blue spiral one AND 1-2 more wich I found out later might not be accurate) not being confirmed. 3- The exact datamine that I used are the Banner datamine, the Ost datamine, and the Prefixe datamine. Being datamine, they are all confirmed unless last minute change. 4- I did not claim that only the prefixes are confirmed. I claimed that ALL THE TRACKS LISTED ARE CONFIRMED, besides the blue spiral ones (and the tracks wich, as I stated, might not be accurate after further research). 5- Finnaly, We need to remember that there will be a mario kart game on the future nintendo console (most likely in about 4/5 years). Nintendo must be saving some of the fan favorite like delfino square/airship fortress and more for that mario kart 10. Wich is why the absence of tracks like Toad's Factory and Airship fortress didn't influenced the making of my Preview. Finnaly (bit of self promo there) for the french out here, I made a video showcasing the datamine, and my prediction/preview. There is a difference between a leak and a datamine. Those were datamines, meaning that someone hacked the game, looked into the files, and found that information. A leak can be something that isn’t true, but a datamine is guaranteed to be correct. In fact, both the music and the prefixes were datamines, so basically all you’ve done with this video is just leave the entire world to come to his comment section, prove you wrong, and make you look like an idiot. I suggest you at least leave a pinned comment here saying that you didn’t know the difference, that way you’ll at least have some credibility after this video, otherwise you’re basically done for when it comes down to your opinions on this game. I think this is Nintendo’s damage control for the leaks, release a trailer now to take back control but it’s too early to show everything. So I think we know which tracks will be in the next wave. So in the most recent Nintendo Direct, more Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC was announced. However, rather than announcing the entirety of the Wave 3 tracks, only two tracks were announced. I found this to be a bit suspicious because why would they only announce two of the tracks instead of all eight? Now, something notable with this is that in the well-known leak I talked about a little while ago, they seemingly had an outline of predicting most of the tracks coming to the booster course pack with a few tour tracks not named. Now, these tracks are notable because they were both predicted to come in the Wave 3 leak. Some of my friends did message me after this saying that I now had to concede the belief that the leak was fake, but when you think of the potential reasdons of why Nintendo announced two of the tracks and two tracks only, I feel as if I have good reason not to believe the leak, even with two tracks from the leak being confirmed. So first off, there is, of course, the idea of coincidence; predicting two tracks from the entire franchise by sheer coincidence is an exponentially low chance, so I wouldn't use this argument usually, however, Mary Mountain added feels almost too perfect, like in retrospect, was an obvious prediction, not because of any data mines, but because the third wave was likely to come out the holiday and this track is Christmas themed. I don't play tour so I didn't know this track actually existed until the direct, but this one could have been seen from a mile away. Peach Gardens, however, does take away some credibility from the leak being fake. It seems like a random pick that is unlikely in itself to be randomly picked and also happens to be in the DLC Wave 3 pack, but certainly it isn't impossible. Now this could be going out on a stretch, but there is a chance that Nintendo saw these leaks and saw that they were partially correct, but not fully. So what they decided to do was show only tracks in the next wave that were correct according to the leak, while holding off the tracks that were not in the leak in order to give the illusion that those other tracks are coming. And then in the last second, release the real other six tracks in Wave 3 and shocked the community. My theory does, I admit, seem less likely than the leak just being accurate, but I feel as if it's a possible explanation as to why only two tracks were shown rather than all eight. I need to give some important facts about this leak that I wasn't aware of the last time I brought it up. First of all, there are some blue circles in the corner of certain tracks which indicate that those tracks are not confirmed, but just guesses. However, the leaker claims the console of which each Mario Kart is from is still 100% correct. Meaning, though even though the leaker isn't stating 100% Wario Coliseum or Wii Rainbow Road are coming, there will still be a GameCube track and a Wii track in the final pack. I didn't really see how this made any sense since with the unknown tour tracks, they blatantly left them blank with only a hint of what it could be in opposition to the non-tour tracks which gave clear-cut predictions. Now if Wave 3 comes out and all eight tracks are correct, I will concede that the leak is fake, but for now two tracks is not enough to convince me. Some people have told me that leaks prediced Wave 2 100% correctly, but I found no evidence of Wave 2 being predicted anywhere, so I feel these people are just trying to gaslight me. However for the next part of this video I will be talking about the scary reality of this leak actually being real. So one part of this leak that is claimed to be real is the console of which each track is from, per slot, being 100% correct, even if the track itself isn't confirmed. Now you'll notice here that there are only two DS tracks listed, one of those was Peach Gardens, a track that was seemingly confirmed by the leak, and end up did actually being confirmed by Nintendo, which means now there is only one more DS track that is one of the few tracks not confirmed. I believed in my heart so much that this leak wasn't real, that Delfino Square would definitely make it, but in the harsh reality that it is real Delfino Square, fans may be in trouble. With only one DS slot left the chances of Delfino Square making it seems slimmer than before. It's so frustrating that the one track I was hoping for isn't even confirmed nor deconfirmed, whereas plenty of the other tracks seem to be that way, leaving me in suspense. But at least it's said to come in the fourth wave, rather than the sixth wave, so we'll know relatively soon. The big problem I have here is that even though Delfino Square seems like it could come in the fourth wave, DS has a high bar of quality per track and I've actually seen a lot of people clamoring for Airship Fortress over Delfino Square. So it appears there seems to be a mini war within the Mario Kart 8 community because I have also seen a lot of peole wanting Delfino Square. But Airship Fortress is still really good, and Nintendo may be reluctant to put Delfino Square on the Switch with the fear that it will raise demand for Switches so high and they will not be able to keep up with the demand. Maybe Nintendo is afraid they'll soil their greatest creation if they try to work it into Mario Kart 8. I know some people want Airship Fortress over Delfino Square and some people over Airship Fortress over Delfino Square, but I think we can all agree we would like Airship Fortress and Delfino Square over Peach Gardens. Never lose hope my fellow Delfino Squarers, Delfino Square is still the greatest Mario Kart track of all time and I don't care what the leaks say. This track can and will get in. I would advise people to spam their hopes for Delfino Square in the Nintendo KZbin video comment section, but whether the leak is real or not, there's a high chance all 48 tracks have at least been decided, if not, fully completed. Never lose hope my friends! We will beat the Airship Fortress crowd and get our beloved Delfino Square, and Mario Kart will be saved!

In my humble opinion... Delfino Square is overrated. It's not a bad track by any means, but it is more of a B-tier track for me. Meanwhile Airship Fortress is literally my favorite MKDS track, and at the very least, a high A-tier. Also, I kind of hope the datamines are true, because I'm really looking forward for Rock Rock Mountain, Boo Lake/Broken Pier, Waluigi Stadium/Wario Colosseum, and Maple Treeway. I'm personally hoping for Broken Pier and Wario Colosseum. And Maple Treeway is my most nostalgic track, having grown up with MKWii and playing it with my family. Maple Treeway may not be my favorite track of all time, but it means a lot to me, and the music almost makes me cry nowadays. It's just so beautiful, and if it's remade in the same visual quality as the tracks teased for wave 3, it will be absolutely gorgeous.

I STRONGLY disagree because we had seveal DS track that are STILL NOT in Tour even after the tracks where revealed and released which are Shroom Ridge and Peach Gardens, So Delfino Square still has a chance to get in the pass since it completely works with 12 RACERS since Peach Garderns also appeared in MKWii along with Delfino Square, BUT there is also Desert Hills and Yoshi Falls also, which they too appear in MKWii which they do did with 12 racers.

I have speculated that these 2 tracks revealed were the two they wanted us as the consumers to have. I mean come on, if the whole leak was true wouldn't they show off all the tracks and not just 2? I feel they will show the other 6 and keep them away from the leak for the most part. Some elements can have contributing factors towards the released tracks coming wave three, but these 2 tracks specifically shown off can also just make us think we are getting the tracks datamined to throw us off. Nintendo has done this before with some games so it is likely that they will do that.

People need to stop this denial, they announced only 2 to create "hype", they clearly don't know about the datamines yet, they didn't remove them last update so they likely haven't found out or didn't care, that was the last direct of the year so of course the had to show SOMETHING about the DLC, or else people would go hysterical like they did in the wait between Wave 1 and Wave 2, it's also too late to do anything about the datamines or "throw us off" or anything like that, they clearly have made some considerable progress on most of the tracks, to the point where they're already thinking about the music remixes and such, especially on Waves 5 and 6, it's mobile ports after all, if next update we found out that every track is fully ready and they'll just become a Smash Bros wannabe by spacing out their reveals to create "hype" i wouldn't be surprised in the slightest, these tracks could've been released in december fully, they just want to fill the void Smash left in the directs

Although Airship Fortress has a massive popularity boost, Delfino Square was in the Banner Leak which included Sky High Sundae before it was even announced. Delfino Square is going to make it in. Hopefully one of the last empty spots will be used for Airship Fortress
