This is the best performance I've ever heard of Poogie's group. He's usually straining and trying to out shine the others...loud...off key...erratic runs etc. But THIS performance he seems to tone down.... and just....sing. Also seems like he's had some voice coaching and conditioning .... sounding alot better than previous shows. Background guys ... when was this recorded? Because the dude on the left (I think is Garfield Fleming) looks like original member RIP Randy Cain. The other background member (I think) is Johnnie Johnson...they sound REAL good ---- but Wilbert's group is still the BEST. I wish William & Wilbert will unite .

I keep seeing interviews where William (Poogie) is still claiming to be "THE" Delfonics. Says he alone is the " voice" of the Delfonics and he wrote alot of the songs with Thom Bell. As if the original members were merely his background singers. Wilbert wrote some songs too . I disagree with Poogie and this is what he and his brother William fell out about. Poogie tried to legally claim ownership to the group's name and sound. He doesn't give credit to the original members for their part in creating the sound and contribution to the group's appeal. I, for one, loved his voice but I always zoomed in on the smooth background vocals of Wilbert, Randy & Major. Their harmony was what captured my heart. And I especially loved the songs Wilbert sung lead (Hey Love) and the ones they switched leads on like (Didn't I Blow Your Mind and I'm a Man etc.) It was the whole group that fascinated the sound of the Delfonics...not just Poogie.

He was The Voice ,At his peak his FALSETTO was second to only EDDIE KENDRICK, AND HE DID WRITE or COLLBARATED with THOM BELL ON ALL THEIR HITS.. AND HE ARRANGED THE HARMONIES.. SO HE IS TELLING THE TRUTH...ANY do woop GROUP could have backed Him..William HART is the Showcase of the DELFONICS.

True wilbert voice brought something extra to their sound especially on you got yours and get mine didn't blow your mind this time trying to make a fool of me when you get right down to it and his lead on hey love and Major's lead on walk right up to the sun gave the group a change in sound which helped spice up some things william was great but he didn't do it by himself

The one on the right was a original Randy Cain he left in 1970 and Major Harris replaced him and he came back in the late 90s Wilbert formed his of own version of the group in the late 80s and major joined them for a while and later on in the late 90s major joined Williams group for a bit Randy and Major have both passed on the original members left are William and Wilbert the only thing is they have their own separate groups

Oh no not my baby William Hart one the most beautiful first tenor voice. He still looks good. But he was gorgeous when he was younger. I'm heart broken now . Damn William

Katrina Smith it’s hard to keep those great voices if you smoke and drink (cigarettes) to. But I can still remember the sweet voice and physique when he was young! He is like a husband or wife of many years. They don’t look or maybe even sound same but true love always loves. And you love them for who they are. So Somebody loves you William, this I know is true boy!!!
