I have just finished watching this video and cannot express the pleasure I get by watching all the travel videos created by you and your husband in words. I have been a big fan of your KZbin channel for a long time and really enjoy your videos. One thing I must say is that all your travel videos are promoting Sri Lanka's tourism industry. Your handling of the English language is amazing. Your mastery of the language is clearly shown in these videos, and we're happy that those, mainly foreigners, who are watching these videos will visit our island. You are doing a great job, so keep making more videos like these.

Felt it deep in my heart. I am from Jaffna. During school days one of my closest friend came from this island. They had horses here and nobody knew how they arrived in this remote corner of Sri Lanka. I. hope that the western tourists help to preserve this island as it is. Thank you lady for showing the video and the eco friendly guy with no ambition other than to have. his island prserved as it is.

Very nice. I have as a teenager visited Delft island on a school trip the year that SWRD Bandaranaike was shot. When the news reached the island, we hastily came back to Colombo. What i cud remember was the very dry n remoteness of the plsve n that there were quite a few donkeys. Now living in the UK for 25 yrs. 🇱🇰🇬🇧👍

Hi Shenelle really nice video. We have such diversity and cultural richness in Sri Lanka. You are a really multi-talented person having transferred from modelling to Travel promotion and a great ambassador for our country. I was in Sri Lanka recently and was searching for some authentic rice and curry places but didn't come across any but just came across your rice and curry video. Next time I will check out the places. It is great to see some talented girls like you, Yohani and our women's cricket team showcasing Sri Lanka to the world. You girls rock ! After all we had the first female prime minister in the world and many other trail blazers so we expect a high standard from our girls. Best Wishes.

Be careful to go to Sri Lanka, you might get deported if you go there too often. I was deported from Sri Lanka on the 30 th of July. At the passport control I was told I come too often, it was my second time in this year. How often is that? The immigration authorities behaved themselves highly unprofessional, were screaming at me, pointing with their finger, the head of the immigration didn’t give me any answer on my question what’s the official reason of deportation. On the way to the plain, flying back to Thailand, I was told to tell Thai authorities that I was deported cuz I didn’t have the back ticket. It was a lie. It’s dangerous to go to this country because you never know if you’ll get in or not. Thai authorities told me Sri Lanka deports people every single day. Imagine how many plains come into the country from all over the world and how many people go back just because they come too often to Sri Lanka. And then imagine how much money it costs to get to this country and then be deported for thousands of $. It’s a shame.
@nayanthidesilva86604 ай бұрын
Not only in Sri Lanka but any country in the world checks every person who enters their country. Sri Lanka receives more tourists than any other country in the world. Since visas are often issued at the airport, they are definitely concerned about the security of the country. Sri Lanka has full right to decide the people to enter its country. Sri Lanka is a country that has been severely affected by Tamil and Muslim terrorists. That is why Sri Lanka's immigration officials conduct strict checks. According to the law of the country, if there is any terrorist problem, not only the general government or police officers, but even the president will be punished by the courts.
@Expat_diaries4 ай бұрын
@@nayanthidesilva8660 omg. Are you serious? I know everything about your country. I have been there through the crisis you had. So when you had bad times you were ok with me coming into the country, you were ok with me bringing my USD from the outside, supporting your people when they were in need the most. While your government brought its people to almost death. Don’t tell me how great your county is and how proud you are, cuz there’s nothing you can be proud of. Terrorism? 🤣 you are accusing me now of terrorism?! Have you been to the south? If you are Sri Lankan you have been, so there they still burn their garbage on the side of the roads, in their yards. They burn not only the food leftovers, but plastic. Everyday you go out there to the road, you never know if those crazy busses will kill you. They break the rules on the road like crazy, but the police never stops them. The only people they stop are the foreigners or the locals in the t shirts of the cafes owned by foreigners. You don’t have the most tourists in the world! Don’t compliment yourself! Sri Lanka receives more tourists than any other country in the world 🤣 who told you that?! If it’s true why you are so still poor? Why is this country still a living hell? What about people who bought land there and were deported as I was? Go travel, go see the world! I have been traveling since 2020 non stop, going to all sorts of countries countless times. Your country is the only one which doesn’t know how to treat people with respect at the border. Yes it has but legally they should say what’s the reason. You can’t scream at people and behave aggressively just because it’s your country. And this is another thing it’s not your county! It belongs to Chinese, Indians, whites people anyone but not you. They are the ones who are supporting you now and they are the one who is giving you the money you so need. The money your government stole from your people.

Apply for a visa before you go. Have you watched the immigration videos from USA, UK and Australia and wondered why people get deported? The simple reason is to keep undesirables and criminals out. Very simple.
