What foods should I try in India? India has by far the greatest variety of food anywhere in the world, so help me out. Leave a comment, thanks

Have some dosas in southern India! Also, head up to northeast India if you can. I hear the cuisine there is very different from the rest of the country and will blow your mind. Meghalaya, in particular, looks spectacular. Lots of pork-based dishes up there. :)

Awesome food tour, Alexander! Chandni Chowk looks like sensory overload for sure, but in the best way. I'd imagine it's hard to take everything in because there's so much going on around you at all times. And the food looks amazing. I must try those parathas and chutneys, and pani puri, someday!

you are in north india which is very crowded and dirty in lot of places . plus because of invasions for last 2500 years north has taken lot of battering . if you want to see real Indian cuture then go south or north-east, each completely different than north india . south india is less crowded, cleaner and north east india is very less crowded, clean . If you like beaches, temples and nature then go to south india, if you like mountains , nature and peaceful places then go to north east .

Thank you for sharing this important information for those of us who long to travel to India...please take no offense but Delhi & further North in the overly crowded & crazy traffic patterns is exactly the India where most of us dream about! It’s full of life, hard work, entrepreneurs & beggars, spirituality & religions, hardships & success, fragrant air filled w/mouth watering spices mixed w/cow dung...We can see beaches, find relaxation & take in the beauty of mountains in our homeland but India, especially Old Delhi is what we yearn for! I’ve heard that some Indians get upset & feel insulted when travel vloggers share old run down areas rather than all the beautiful new high-rises & state of the art corporate buildings but please know that we know how far you’ve come in just a few short years & we LOVE that India has stepped up onto the World’s stage for all to see & causing some Nations fear(cough-China-cough😉)! India is special because of her people, your ability to overcome every challenge, your willingness to lend a hand even to your enemy when necessary, your commitment to family, especially your elders, the deep love & respect for traditions dating back more than a 1000 years ago! I love India, I’m blessed to live so close to a Gurukulum (I’m not sure if there’s more but at one time it was the only one in the US) which I often visit in an attempt to learn Sanskrit (🤯extremely difficult), yoga, fellowship & pooja but it makes me so hungry to visit beautiful India! Xo🙏🏼🇺🇸❤️🇮🇳

how are you finding getting around India man ? Is it fairy straight forward for backpackers ??
@AlexanderTravelbum5 жыл бұрын
It depends where you are. It really changes a lot, it’s not straightforward because of the changes and because most of the time, the easiest way to go is by scammers or people charging you a ton extra. So really, it’s not very easy. It’s actually fairly difficult to go from one state to the next if you want to do it the right way and cheaply
