It's such an essential series for anyone who wishes to learn to cook, as well as expand their repertoire. Years later, I still love her "pad thai" recipe, a simple one to begin with, but you can easily customise it the way you like with additional ingredients.

I’ve realised I watched delia smith how to cook passively as a kid - except it did make an impact. Got to uni and I actually knew how to cook without much being taught by my grandma- she did some teaching but not as much as she thought I’d need

I was wondering if anyone knows what year these series were made? I am enjoying them being aired on Australia’s SBS at the moment but I was curious as to the original air dates.

Caveat emptor: Having watched this 10 or more timed, I thought I'd try the Pad Thai, including the dried shrimp. Every mucus membrane smelt of fish for 2 days.... I'd go with tiger prawns. Otherwise, delicious...
