And still, years after watching her cook a turkey this way, I still haven’t found a better method that guarantees a juicy moist bird! 🤣

There is NO such thing as "Barbados Christmas cake" seeing as...oh yeah, all origins of Christmas/Yule come from EUROPE. More blatant brownwashing of White culture.

It beggers believing that cooks can class animals as ingredients. Turkeys are sweet, intelligent beings. They are not ingredients!

Dec 1st 2024. Delia's Christmas programmes never age. I was brought up on Delia and still have a few of her books. Christmas and the Autumn ones are my particular favourites I still use today.

Dearest Delia - I love having your comfortable Christmas videos in the background and also to relax to. If I had to choose between you and Nigella and Gordon and Marco Pierre White who are all brilliant; and all the others I've seen - I would choose your food! You are so skilled and your dishes are rustic and extremely beautiful and I can almost taste them. Love from Sunny in Denmark

Can anyone help. I’m boiling it for 8 hours (as I don’t have a steamer), which others have told me should be okay. But on Christmas Day I won’t have the hob space to steam for another 2 hours. Will microwaving it just to heat it up be okay?

You might be interested to know (if you didn't already), that Delia Smith entered a convent to become a nun but her cooking was rather too good for 'humble convent food", so she left.
