I just made and canned cream of mushroom soup today. I used Chanterelle mushrooms we foraged yesterday. I would have never thought to put dill in it. That is interesting. Thanks for sharing and putting together your collaboration. It's given me many new soups to try in the coming months, and introduced some new channels as well.

Do you know if this recipe freezes well? I'm the only one in my family who likes mushrooms. In fact, I LOVE mushrooms, and they all HATE them. So I only very rarely get to enjoy them. I have even tried to sneak mushrooms into things, but they always catch it and then refuse to eat the meal. So if I made up a pot of this, I would need to freeze the leftovers for future meals for myself only. However, I would be happily willing to do so if I could be sure not to waste any. This soup sounds and looks soooo delicious. Thank you.
