Hi guys, it's Chef Marcus here . I've decided to share my pastelle recipe with you. I've tried many recipes for years, and I think this one is great. Enjoy 😉
RECIPE -
2lbs Minced beef
2 tsp tyme dry or fresh
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp fresh pimento
2 tsp ginger powder or fresh
1 tbsp zazon seasoning ( if not, use all-purpose )
1/4 cup diced capers ( dicing it carries more flavor )
1/2 cup raisins, 1/2 cup olives sliced
1/2 ketchup
1 tbsp green seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
GREEN SEASONING RECIPE -
1 cup Chives , 1 cup chadon beni, 1 Bulb of garlic , 4 to 5 pimento peppers 🌶
PROMASA MIX -
2 1/2 CUPS hot water
2 Cups promasa
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt and 1 tsp zazon or all purpose
