I get the impression that the kind of resurrection magic that Tansu uses in this episode is just normal healing magic; because death is forbidden inside the dungeon and souls are bound to their bodies, that the soul goes right back in all on its own if you use ordinary healing magic to repair the body well enough. Marcille wondered about if she should resurrect the corpse they found in the first episode too, and we know that she specialises more in offensive magic as opposed to Falin's healing and support magic.

You are right on with this. It is discussed later in the show but Marcille does talk about healing spells and that resuscitation is just a very large version of that. Binding souls is a different thing that does gets hints later and will be discussed much more.
