Pls I used egg wash for the pie top but I didn’t get the golden brown as yours . What did I miss pls

I mostly use egg and a little bit of milk. Also one tip is because I want it a little bit brown it stays in the oven for like 40mins instead of the 30mins. And please be checking your oven regularly so it doesn’t burn. Hope this helps
