I make sweet and sour chicken with pineapple, and it is a great combo. I see no reason why this recipe would not work with chicken. Give it a go!

@@mit8818 Fish sauce has a pretty specific umami flavour that is hard to replicate. Are you allergic to fish or prawn? As for the prawn oil, you can fry bits of chicken for a bit and use the oil just as Jeremy did with the prawns. You can add more umami flavour with Maggi sauce (to taste). Just experiment!
