Because of this review I discovered Sunshine and I love it! I got multiple samples from Osswalds and luckscent and it took me almost a year to pull the trigger because of the heafty price tag, I'm so glad I did! This fragrance makes me so happy! Thank you! I love, love, love Sunshine. I was thinking blackcurrant pastry but I agree, definitely a fruit pastry accord. Beautiful scent and of course the bottle and box are so lovely.

I adoooore this scent, now one of my fave...oh... how lovely it is...i disagree with the apricot though. I feel the tobacco-vanille-powdery line and that is what i am crazy for.

I'm familiar with the apricot vanilla by Comptoir Sud Pacifique and I used to wear the heck out of it! The two Amouage perfumes I have are Interlude and Honour, unfortunately I don't know if I'll ever be able to afford any more Amouage any time soon. Almost everything I've smelled by them makes me swoon!

What an enjoyable tale :) thank you! I have a tiny decant and to me, derived from the tiny sprayer, I feel my skin smells like warm and pretty sunshine :) i am ordering a Dua inspiration :) see how it compares to the decant.

The white Tobacco is very prevalent for me in this fragrance I do not get apricots.

My Scent Trunk box arrived today and guess what was in it? A very generous sample of Sunshine! MY GOD it is DIVINE!!! I'm soooo in love with it! My husband loves it too.

Sally Griffin Hhaha what a coincidence! Ohhh it is indeed divine...so rich and creamy and delicious and sweet without smelling plasticky or cheap. Did you get the apricot thing too or perhaps something different? :D

Delicious Delights The apricot is definitely there but I do get a lot of sweet jasmine/white flowers too. The tobacco comes out but only after the long drydown. The only note that I don't get is almond, which is a good thing to me. Overall it has this bright, warm, sunny scent! They definitely captured the smell of Sunshine. Hopefully it will eventually make its way to discount/grey market outlets and I'll be able to cop a bottle.

Hi, I just learned about this perfume a few weeks ago. So I ordered a sample directly from Amouage. I sprayed more than the half of it on my skin and clothes and barely could smell it :-(. Even my husband couldn’t smell something 😢 It’s something wrong with the sample I got? Best regards, Marta

Well I think its because the male part of our commmunity gravitates towards "men first" designations instead of sniffin anything for any reason, which it what I do. I think Amouages "commercial approach" is nothing more than effort to get more money. Unisex is the way, and I hope theyre not getting lazy, or attempting to find their way to a Neiman Exclusive line status. Where they xan pimpnthe "man/woman" game. Bergdorf carries the line in store, and though they're not exclusive there... its a possibility of that happening elsewhere where designer....men and women juixe is a flimflam to keep uneducated consumers to ignorant to the word...unisex. That being said, Sunshine woman IS unisex, just as LOVE by Kilian is the same. thats my 10 cents. The price is steep, but some rich guy will buy Sunshine for his woman, and she wont like it because it doesnt smell like Prada Candy or Flowerbomb!!!!

Just bought this, blind, because I found it for a significant discount, because of you and Demi. I trust you guys, and love apricots. Addendum; I love it, lux dried Apricots or apricot pastry and whipped cream/ custard, which has vanilla, for the most part. Your description is perfect. 🥮 Yummy!!!
