Consider yourself lucky. My stores do not sell any meat with bones. I don't know why. I suspect it's for some money making reason. All their chicken is divided into separate parts. They probably make more money that way, instead of giving the customer all the parts for one price. Any bone-in meat is more tasty and tender.

I was looking for a recipe for cooking thick Iowa Chops this morning. I looked at several recipes and nothing sounded appealing. I ran across this video and it sounded really good. I didn't have pork gravy but I did have brown gravy. I wasn't sure what kind of red wine to use, so my daughter grabbed us a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. I put baby potatoes in the bottom with sauce over top, added the chops & more sauce on top. My daughter does not like pork! She LOVED this recipe! I saved it and I will definitely be making it again! Thank you!

My wife came up with something similar but with less steps snd ingredients. We use 4 pork chops 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch. 1 can of cream of mushroom 1 can of cream of chicken 1 pack of Liton onion soap mix Around 3/4 cup chicken broth Pinch of salt and pepper I mix the cream of mushroom and cream of chicken, onion soup mix and broth in the crockpot. Mix well. I usually start heating up the crockpot as I mix . When it's ready I add the chops and cook about 6 to 8 hours.
