Hey Trevor & Anna, great video as always. You guys have much better decorating taste than I do haha Re: Cape Breton photo book ideas, there are many fantastic CB photographers, some online some perhaps not. First one that comes to mind is Warren Gordon in Sydney, just because he did my grad photos (25+ years ago ugh) and he publishes physical books. I’ve since discovered many others including Rob Romard, Michel Soucy, Adam Hill, Kris Tynski, all of which are on IG and/or Twitter. I’m not sure if the others publish physical coffee table / decor books.

We didn't have our bungalow inspected because I wanted the killer green space but, another thing you won't have to contend with is.... Roots in the drain, the water level was always at floor level but, luckily I was home, had a bath 🛁 downstairs and noticed water in the utility room..... So a plumber was called and he used a rotary type of cutter...... This is hubby's 3rd bungalow in that he grew up in one (not me, an old stucco farm house) and his first house was one so it wasn't completely blind! That spring we had ants coming up the pipe (ouch when I unplugged the drain once) as I think they were confused! Last spring we put traps out in March before seeing any, we are always under attack each spring and no problems! Nice you've a hammock, remember to remove it from the elements! P.S. I've also a whirl pool bath which I never use! It works well but takes an awful lot of water (I don't care to sit very long) so I have to remember to jet up to keep jets lubricated. We got it because our renovater (took off, still has a key 🔑 😠) suggested it for the kids' bubble baths... As I was pregnant with the 2nd in Jan. '98, aka (The Ice Storm 😱) we installed a modern stand alone fire place, we use as back up, when it's colder than -10! What amazing views! You won't have that "Need to get to the country feeling" because you're already there!

Love the layout of your tiny house. I've watched many tiny house videos and your layout is one I would certainly love. As for books -- Mary Janet MacDonald's new book --Tunes and Wooden Spoons from her Facebook videos is a must. Wonderful recipes and stories -- all from Port Hood and Mabou. I was looking at your Airbnb listing...how's it possible to have reviews from 2018 when you just got this tiny house? And who is Robert/Bob? Just wondering.
@DelightfulTravellers3 жыл бұрын
Robert is our property manager. He had a very similar tiny house on the same property which is no longer available to rent. Instead of creating a brand new listing which takes days to a week to create we decided to switch the profile to our new place given that all the reviews would still apply. It's the same style build and amenities plus the same property / location - Trevor

Congrats on your lovely new tiny home! Funny what you said about Ikea. Was trying to order a dresser from their website and have it shipped to my son’s apartment in college but it wouldn’t let me. They said I would need to go to the Ikea near me which is 40 miles away to buy it at the store and request to have it shipped. So ridiculous. Oh well, I guess will have to order it from somewhere else then.

Unfortunately, no decorating suggestions as I'm not very good with that stuff except, remember to get a guest book and if you're going to be staying during the winter, you will need to think about skirting the tiny house and insulating/wrapping the water pipes in case of freezing. I really hope your instructions on its everyday use are very clear for your guests. As a choice for owners, I think it’s wonderful, but hope all your guests are willing to adapt a bit to its everyday use. It seems to me to be the best adaptation to your environment
