Remember back in their heyday, even at the end of the old fashioned rail era, some PRIVATE train cars were as luxurious as a 5 STAR hotel with ALL the amenities of one of their NON mobile counterparts! The "big wigs" of the private rail companies down here in my area about 50 years ago the PENNSYLVANIA RR. and the NY CENTRAL RR which built the Vanderbilt Family dynasty always had their own totally posh rail cars. Believe it or not? The tradition even continues today on the NYC SUBWAY SYSTEM. Some very rich NYers still have bvb their own, privately owned, pushed up SUBWAY cars! I KNOW! Amazing. Thank you so much for this and once a day again THRILLED to see you back in a NEW video! Adieu.

When I was 19 (in 1969) I spent the summer loading and unloading box cars in the Santa Fe railyards in Topeka, Kansas. (My grandfather worked for the Santa Fe.) A hot and messy and exhausting job. No where near as delightful as that little beauty you two had. Nice digs!

When my doctor asked me what I did for a living, I replied, what do I do for a living? Ya, how do you get your money? Oh I put up with my husband and kids! Oh you're a stay at home mom! What do you do for pleasure (he's kidding right?) So I simply replied chocolate! My son's girlfriend is gluten intolerant so I buy her that kind of chocolate 🍫, what's a (hopefully) future mother in law for anyway!

We used to have a train car based restaurant chain down here in my home city of YONKERS,NY. It was called "VICTORIA STATION" and yes, it featured dinners in salvaged railroad DINER cars. I GOTTA get up to YOUR "rail yard". It looks AWESOME! Hope you can provide "links" to the the TRAIN CAR HOTEL in CHATTANAGOOSH? THANK YOU! SO GREAT TO SEE YOU BACK IN ACTION WITH A NEW VIDEO AGAIN! WELCOME BACK! YAY!!!

In 2013 we took our first long trip to Nova Scotia from Georgia and planning our trip I came across the Train Station Inn so I booked us a night there. We stayed in the Box Car Jimmie and our special-needs daughter loved sleeping in the loft. We ate dinner there too and it was delicious! We've made two trips to PEI and Nova Scotia and it's so beautiful there! We hope to get back one day and ferry over to Newfoundland. Just came across your video so I subscribed so I can follow your trip. I love Nova Scotia!

🤗... Because of the pandemic the local business are facing lots of heat. What you are doing really promotes them. Thank you for that. One thing I would love you guys do is to checkout the farm markets. There's one near Pier 21 the Halifax seaport market. There's another in Uniacke called withrows farm Market. You should try those. You would be getting to taste home made food items. Sometimes very different from the ones in cafe and restaurant.

Do they still have lobster pounds where you can get a lobster dinner for a reasonable (not cheap) price? We paid $5.00 for dinner in1976, on our honeymoon. We went to a lobster dinner in a church basement (which was actually a fund raiser for the church. The dinner was $7.50 there and included a glass of wine.
