I've had DTs in hospital following 4 priapism operations a HORRENDOUS experience and was a 3-5 liters of 37.5%-50% alcohol every day (along with heroin etc.) but when I was even given 20mg Diazepam every 2 hours 24/7 I was violently shaking and in a different universe my eyes had nystagmus like MDMA causes and was bouncing off the bed with tubes and several sets of drips it was horrendous having to detox under such horrific agonizing circumstances but it's amazing how bad alcohol withdrawal can be the one that's legal I mean opioid/Heroin/methadone withdrawal made me cry and vomit and feel terrible but I'd wake up needing vodka poured down my throat else I'd shake so much the bottle would fly out of my hand and hit the wall and break or the glass if I could even open it - it's a real curse alcoholism especially with co-morbid schizophrenia and so many demons I really do have respect for anyone who can go through this and stay sober... it's the worst one yet the legal one - except maybe cigarette smoking another expensive form of suicide long term but alcohol made me record as a 42 year old male when I was 23 years old and have cholesterol and values so out of balance and everything... it's a miracle I'm alive to turn 30 next month and alcoholism is a real serious addiction it isn't just heroin or "hard drugs" - alcohol IS a HARD DRUG - this stuff can destroy you and take everything from you whether it be physical damage, poverty, loss of family and loved ones; to loss of stable mental health and it deteriorates almost every mental illness and really is extremely dangerous it makes zero sense when you see how drunks behave to how people who e.g. smoke cannabis generally behave no wife beating or kid abuse or barbaric crimes done with "Dutch courage"... scary that they'd allow someone to endure this much physicl withdrawal he surely could be treated even back then with a myriad of drugs to prevent this withdrawal stage or at least sedate them through it? Seems cruel to force someone through this not to mention potentially fatal and permanently damaging menally and physically even if you live.

I'm so sorry that you've been through so much before 30. I totally agree that marijuana is not as dangerous as alcohol. However, are you aware of studies that note marijuana as a cause of priapism? As you've had 4 surgeries, you should probably know that. I have had many patients go through DTs. Alcohol IS a hard drug for many, especially for those with psychiatric illnesses. It briefly comforts and then magnifies the illness. Almost lost a patient once, due to incredibly violent seizures . 3 bottles of an 8% IPA can make a pleasant evening. 1.5 Liters of Wine is a heavy night. 5 liters of hard liquor is usually fatal! Fatal alcohol poisoning is calculated at 5 to 8 grams per kg. 1 liter of spirits is 250 to 350 grams. So 5 Liters is between 1200 grams and 1750 grams. A 113.5 kg (250 lb) man should die after 908 grams, which is 3 Liters. I'm guessing that you're a pretty big guy with Celtic ancestry and everything else that allows people to survive an unholy amount of alcohol? The fact that you survived means that you are clearly supposed to be here.

I think he must have gotten a hold of some of the vaccinations or drugs he'd given all those animals he takes care of. If he taken any Ketamine that would give him hallucinations. 😉

Idk dude, this guy doesn't appear to be on a deleriant like datura. Just seems like his brain wont let him form a coherent thought without shoving in extra stimuli and extra information that changes the initial thought before it can be communicated by him resulting in a jumbled mess of words. Like a hastily thrown together "frankenthought" if you will.
@steghuman90633 жыл бұрын
@@amberross4784 Lol yes "Word salad" comes to mind. My comment was not to say he was on datura, just that his problem reminded me of a friend that took it once, my friend was completely detached from reality and coherent thought.

It's scary knowing that my society is populated with people like this. Working, driving, making decisions, raising children, etc. The level of irrationality explains the choices of so many Republican voters.
