The interaction between Julia and Chelsey has been getting better all the time. Now Chelsey’s comments really add to the experience. Julia is so descriptive. Tastes like Elle Woods law library, smells like hand sanitizer, deconstructing the ahi burger, on and on while all the time making the food sound “must try”. She’s so good at this!

I like that there seems to be a bit more honesty about the food in these final videos. I used to be like ‘there is no way every single thing she’s eaten is so well done and perfectly made’ like it used to come across in a lot of eps before, but like I also realized if I wanted to watch like thorough food reviews I should like go rewatch Top Chef or something lol. This was a fun show and it got me to try the Texas Roadhouse bread for the first time lol.

i absolutely LOVE you julia. i love this series, i love this episode, i love your personality with literally all my heart. i've been watching this series since the beginning and literally had no idea what delish was coming into this channel but you got me hooooked and it's so bittersweet this is ending soon :( you say it every episode but it still hurts a little. i believe this episode in particular though is extra good..idk how to describe it i think bc it's one of the longest juliatries videos in a while but also you actually said something was dry! which legit shocked me bc you always have great things to say about these restaurants. there's a good balance between drinks and food, the vibe of this place is cool and i've never heard of it lol and you just got so so detailed idk..it feels more detailed than usual! i'm writing a book out here but point is i really love you and i love how happy this series makes me. savoring it as long as i can🥺🥺❤

My wife and i have been watching her all thru the pandemic. The truth of the matter is eating like this even if it isn't regularly, it isn't healthy. None of us are getting any younger. As much as my wife and I adore her and have enjoyed her videos...for her healths sake, talent, and charisma, it's best for her to move on. The videos will still be here and you can always go back! But we all need to understand and recognize that she's going places either way, and doing what is best her. Best of luck to you Julia and thank you for the entertainment for the past few years!

Maybe... or the numbers just weren't where they wanted them, or they were sick of being bombarded with "OMG she's gonna die if she keeps this up, YOU ARE KILLING JULIA" emails. Who knows? Maybe some guy sitting behind a desk got tired of hearing about her in a dream his wife had.... Maybe this channel hired a dropout from Food Network and they are trying to taking the vast amount of knowledge accumulated forward in a new endeavor. The thing we do know is she apparently signed a piece of paper saying she can't say anything, not really leaving me waiting for the cliff hanger debut of her new show on this channel if you know what I mean. I can't imagine what that would be, she is definitely coming at this from a consumer side of things. Anyway, I hope you are right and I wish her the best.

We had the Poke Taco, (and Korean beef, not in you video but also good), Carrot cake and the Creme Brulee Cheesecake. I worked for yard house from 2006-2011, and let me tell you how serious that music playlist fun fact is…..ITS SERIOUS! I witnessed multiple people get fired for adding music to the playlist. I don’t know how true it is that Steele (the founder) spend 45 mins a day on the playlist. We literally had the same playlists everyday depending on the day of the week. I worked there for 5 years and really learned to love the eagles, Peter frampton, and all other classic rock lol. I haven’t been there since Darden bought it out, but I’m glad the Mac and cheese squared is still on the menu!

Watching this and on round three, so glad you are trying ace’s hard pineapple cider! It’s a Cali based cider that I found when I lived in LA in 2016. It’s super sweet because they don’t put any added sugar in, all the sugar comes straight from the pineapple! They also make an apple one as well.

When you mentioned "fried sage", I am northern Italian and love to have polenta with sage in browned butter, then served by drizzling over the polenta. It is beyond amazing. This is great with pasta as well. We also have a breakfast disk with browned butter over as well. So tasty. One can never go wrong with browned butter.

I managed various Yard House restaurants in California, Arizona, and Texas. The story about the music being curated by one of the owners is absolutely true. It got to the point that we got a company-wide email that threatened termination (of employment, not your life) if you touched the playlist. Word on the street was that so many of us got tired of hearing "Piano Man" 20 times a day that we were all skipping it. PS that mac and cheese squared is about 3000 calories
