Maddening video! 14 minutes of watching Luke try to build a cart on top of a sloped hill and wondering why he can't get a chicken to stay in. Then jumping off a wing before he needed to, after flying most of the flight in the wrong direction, and rather than just repeat it but fly in the right way, just makes it more complicated. I should be so angry but it's all so hilarious!

I've dived alongside it before, it goes down into the Depths then flies off in a singularly unconcerned manner.

Each Dragon has a path it follows. The three dragons each go into the depths for part of that path. Unlike BoTW the dragons in ToTK are always on the map somewhere.

This was hilarious from start to finish, just watching Luke do this challenge was a lot like someone figuring out how to carry ten pizzas on a scooter without losing or smushing a single one in order to deliver on time. And it's more than cool to watch the dragons go into the Depths, Ellen. If you're on their backs at the right time, you can actually go down with them and if anywhere they're going is undiscovered by you, getting off is a mere jump. My game actually froze for a few seconds due to it trying to process me being on Dinraal for her descent before it continued like normal. The trick was mostly not doing anything to avoid falling off too early so you don't fall too far down and can't get back on again.

This made me laugh out loud at work. I'm glad Luke went with the coolest solution rather than the simplest. I'm not familiar with Zelda games, but I found it interesting that a wind-providing bird was named Tulin because it sounds similar to the Finnish and Estonian words for "wind" (tuuli/tuul respectively). I peeked into the Zelda Wiki and thr Japanese name for Tulin is チューリ (Chuuri), which is pretty much 'Tuuli' in katakana. This might not be anything new for Zelda lore sages, but I thought it was neat and I wonder if the devs intentionally sought for meaningful names in different languages.
