This was effectively my solution to that one shrine where you were meant to use a few sticks to cross some gaps, and then have a few other sticks and make a raft to cross some water. I just took every single stick with me from the very start and then made a mega stick spanning the entire water section and the previous gap. Good times.

That was absolutely incredible. So genuinely stressful, I cannot overstate how much relief I felt when Luke finally crossed the canyon, only to be sent straight into another load of stress when he did it again. What a wild ride of emotions packed into an hour and twenty minutes.

I'm sure I've made some math or estimation mistakes, anyone feel free to correct me, but as I understand it. - Link is canonically about four and a half foot according to Google. - Eyeballing it from this footage, each log is about four or five times taller than Link, so each is about 20ft long. - They sort of resemble pine trees, according to Google a 160ft pine tree weighs about 4400 lbs, so keeping the same ratio a 20 ft log should weigh in the region of 550 lbs. So that's a 420 ft long bridge with a weight of 11,000 lbs. That’s as long as several tennis courts and heavier than an elephant. Link’s Ultrahand is strong.
@spinal_capped

About the weight: usually a 160ft tree is veeery wide, so to estimate weight you would need to consider the "3d dimensions", not just the length. But regardless, it's a good estimation

I worked as an engineer for about 8 years. Can I just reassure the team: This is all pretty normal for a project. What you're seeing here is why engineering projects _always_ come in behind schedule. I give them serious respect for how well their team holds together and works together during the inevitable descent into insanity, ad-hoc solutions to problems caused by the previous solution, and all the general madness of applying an idea.
