I can understand the production team. When Rhod had missed, he would have hit a wall, with a cupboard, before it hit Alex. And they put a wooden board or something for the small window. That's more or less safe.

​@@callum9999 I don't know - I've seen some pretty bad javelin shots if you don't know what you're doing. 😂 All that it takes is to overswing on an attempt to build momentum, going too far to the right, and it could easily have hit the part of the caravan where Alex was.

I don't think the caravan has taken that much damage. Rhod threw a spear through it, Jenny set a curtain on fire (with 20 members of a health and safety crew standing by with buckets of water). I can't remember anything else.

In early seasons Greg was not worried about offending the contenders. They all knew what they signed up for. With it becoming increasingly difficult to get new contestants he has mellowed out and tries not to offend them for artistic liberties. However, when something is definitely bad and they should know its bad he says so, under the impression they won't argue because they know it.
