When you see trucks coming in and out of these places, there's quite of acitivity taking place. There are delivery appointments, plus live loads and wells live unloads. This an other DC's , warehouses can be quite busy.

THAT'S another great point about automatic vs manual transmissions. With a manual transmission you can start out in a higher gear than normal and lug it out of the slop. Don't abuse the clutch and transmission! I know you don't! Lolol lol 😆!!! But, the "" Brain "" in the computer in the truck tells the automatic transmission what to do. Slippery situations sometimes "" fool "" the A. I. Operating the truck.

Up here in Ontario Canada, hauling 5 axle trailers, typical gross was 138,500 lbs. Loads were either liquid asphalt, propane or dry bulk cement powder. With the "B" train were just under 140,000

Thanks for the ride. I bet Rambling Rose is glad to get that trailer off her back. They need to do a better job of cleaning the yard. That slick mud is a safety issue for employees & truck drivers. Be Safe.

Yup!!! And at the end of where the trailers were it was dry and dusty. 🤦♀️

Lot's of places lend you the whole outfit. Safety glasses and vest and a hard hat. That spiel about the scale is pretty much S. O. P. Too. The hard hat probably fell out of a telephone or cable TV truck. Maybe a tree trimming outfit. It's all about engine and transmission and gearing. THEN, how the driver uses it. That's the big argument about automatic vs manual transmissions. ALWAYS enjoy the videos!

I driving here in Finland 32 wheelers. 76.000kg=167551.308 lbs and that is max gross weight/log wood truck. I drive snowroad,up hill down hill,ice road...750 horsepower Volvo. Now i waiting my creengard and processing time is now 2 month. What you think can i driving yours 18 wheelers in USA when i go CDL school and get my licens?
@TheJoyofTrucking10 ай бұрын
WOW!!!! 😳😳😳You got skills!!!!! Very impressive! I don’t see why you would not be able to drive here. Maybe they even have some exchange program for your European license? Otherwise CDL school is one month and then you should be good to go. Don’t hold me to that, since I am not an immigration consultant. But Kevin got a green card after we got married. He was able to work in the US with that (not trucking). So why not trucking? Please let us know how it goes!

@TheJoyofTrucking10 ай бұрын
Welcome to trucking! Congratulations! Yes. Crete requires some experience. You can ask with six months. Sometimes they might put you with a trainer. But mostly it’s 8 months from certain companies or one year. Talk to recruiting for your particular situation.

What was the point of Kevin wearing a hard hat? Was that for the large birds flying overhead or protection from the possibility of mud balls being kicked up in thier disgraceful parking area? They sure have a lot of rules there. I would have taken a picture of where you dropped the trailer and the tandems being slid back. Wouldn't trust them at all. That's a recipe for slips and falls there.
