I deliver mail and it's not the weird stuff people order that bother me. It's the everyday stuff you can easily get at the grocery or dollar store nearby. They don't want to get out of their big fancy houses, hop in their big fancy cars and go get shampoo, box fans, shovels, paper plates, pet food, etc. Some people even order boxes of chips. We really have it too easy these days.

I get Walmart deliver on my day off. I give driver $15 tip everytime. It's worth the tip not going to town. I'm a trucker drive all damn day for my job. Don't wanna drive when I'm home. As long as they tip well let people be lazy and antisocial if they wanna.

I had to deliver to a rundown hotel at an off ramp that more people lived in than "vacationed in", and I knocked on the door, the lady said to open the door, I stayed out, then a deeper voice said to come in, and I asked them to come out and get it in case the hallways had cameras. The second weird one, I parked on the unlit side of the street against the curb by a huge field (park?) I opened the door, checked to make sure I had my change on me, and two guys appeared out of the dark, told me the pizza was for them, and they paid me. I nearly jumped out of my skin.. I shut the door, and sped out of there. I told the bosses when I got back. Last one, it was many degrees below zero, snowing, and the roads weren't plowed. My customer ordered a ton of food, I'm driving carefully to her, and she yells at me that it's cold, despite me blasting the heat, and the front seats had warmers in them that were also on. I told her if she puts it in the oven for a bit (I don't remember the exact temp/time I told her), it would be hot and good. She got even more pissed and threatened to call the manager, I told her to go right ahead, and left. Sorry twat, my safety comes before your pizza

Not terribly weird, but for Ubereats I once delivered a single 10 pack of cigarette rolling papers. It was so tiny and light, it almost felt like I was delivering nothing.

Sixteen years a postman. I was preparing a delivery on overtime one day when I discovered whoever was supposed to have been doing that delivery had been hiding mail for some time. Amongst the hidden mail was a Special Delivery that should have been delivered some days before. Special Deliveries come in the Guard-it-with-your-life, no-excuses-permitted category so even though all I was being paid for was prepping the delivery I took it upon myself to deliver it. The delivery address was a nice modern house in a prosperous area. When I knocked on the door it was answered by a fabulously attractive woman of 30-ish wearing an almost transparent, skin-tight, leopard-skin print body stocking that left absolutely nothing to the imagination. She was in full-on vamp mode and it was instantly obvious that she was on the game and had assumed I was her next customer. After a few very interesting seconds I got her to sign and print for her letter and I was still laughing an hour later. Happy days.

Saw a naked teenage boy run into the house from hot tub. Girlfriend in a towel behind him. What was hilarious is next day same house for pizza. Daddy answered the door. The girl recognized me and her eyes got huge in horror. I probably had this girls social life in my hands. I did not mention what I saw.

Most of the time strippers are often looked down on my many different men. Even the ones that go to see them. Most often men don't treat them right so why risk tipping a guy who may view you as just an object? They tip women bigger because women played played as much as men in a lot of states (Being a sex worker or stripper doesn't mean you are an object. No matter what job you take, you are a human being.)

I swear all of yall are secretly a corporate industry that has taken over the majority of these types of channels, and it explains so much, but leaves so much to be questionable, and unexplained. There must be more. Anyways, I will keep listening like the slave to these channels we all have become, in our perpetual loop of insanity and desperation for content, and pleasure we get from this, a cycle that seems to end, but only pauses.
