I only said the maturity of a society can be measured from how much its members commiserate with the more vulnerable ones. Do you even understand what vulnerable mean? It does mean equality for everyone. Being shorter or taller has very little to do with being vulnerable. And to commiserate is not the same as to accommodate for everything. There are proper ways to commiserate with each vulnerability. In such society if they have someone with social anxiety, they would provide the means and support so that the person can overcome such anxiety. Definitely not by staying at home. But by saying “safety is boring”, it’s implied that we shouldn’t care about the person who has anxiety, and continue to do things that might provoke or further the degree of the anxiety.

Honestly I think it's too much. Halloween is mostly a holiday for kids to go trick-or-treating unless you're going to a adult themed Halloween party in which case you wouldn't have those types of decorations out all month long but rather only during the party. I'll admit I've seen far worse though. Some people can be a bit demented.
