Greetings... Something to consider is a New Battery sometimes takes a few charges before it can reach it's full potential; least ways that's how mine were. At first I thought I was ripped off as they barely held any charge then a few days of use the run times started to increase significantly to say the least. Now they run easily for almost 3 hours; give or take. Obviously the more intensive work you do the less the battery will run... Cheers...

With 3rd party batteries I usually find that they are under capacity as you found out, and normally last no where near as long as an official replacement, Last battery I bough for a dell lasted 6 months before it had drastically degraded to a point that was less than the original 3 year old battery. Obviously YMMV.

Don't get it. It falls out every freaking time shorting out my computer. It's happened like 20 times already over the course of 2 months. Idk if it's hurting my computer or not but it sucks so bad.

I have this same laptop, Pentium 2117U? Came with a 4 cell battery and battery life is like 2 hours tops. Holds maybe 80% battery. Build quality is terrible and the weighs likes a boat anchor. Held up from a 3 foot drop-- granted it had a hard shell case. Ever since, I stopped buying brand new 'value' laptops. Laptops a couple years old retired from business fleets are the way to go.

Interesting that that laptop is powered by a Celeron and it has terrible battery life... I find that weird because my HP Stream x360 gets around 9-10 hours of battery life and it also has a dual-core Celeron in it

+AA Computers and Technology I have an old Toshiba Satellite l655-s5106 laptop, and the battery only lasts about 30 minutes when I'm lucky. in HWmoniter, it says the battery has 86% wear on it. It was a 60wh battery out of the box, now it has a capacity of 8wh. the laptop is also around 6 years old now.
